We had a pleasant stay at this hotel and would recommend it to those looking for a peaceful retreat. The hotel is located outside the main city center, making it wonderfully quiet and ideal for relaxation. One of the highlights was the great view—you can truly enjoy the serene surroundings. The pool was a nice feature, with relatively warm water that made swimming enjoyable, even in cooler weather. The hotel’s restaurant was also impressive, serving delicious food that added to the overall experience. For getting to the city center, you can use the telecabin (teleférico), which is a fun and scenic way to travel. However, it’s not included in the hotel’s services and costs 120 pesos for a round trip, so it’s something to keep in mind when budgeting. The only real downside is that there’s no internet in the rooms, which could be inconvenient for some. However, if you’re looking to disconnect and relax, this might not be a problem at all. Overall, it’s a lovely choice if you value tranquility, good food, and a comfortable stay with scenic views.

The view from the hotel room made the entire stay worth it. I would go again just to be able to sit on the balcony and take in the view. We liked being able to watch the sunset and see the town and the mountains. The hotel itself is spacious, and we couldn't hear anything from the main area even though there was karaoke and music playing near the pool. The restaurant was nice, the pool was a pleasant temperature.

There was no hair conditioner in the hotel, only shampoo and body wash.

Location was super with unparalleled views over the beautiful town of Taxco and its surroundings…, definitely go for the city view rooms!

To get there it’s a bit of an adventure as our van was not able to climb the hill to the hotel. There is an cablecar, but this one is not included in the price when you book through OTA’s and only runs until 18:30, another option is to take a taxi (take the old Beatles, it will just be awesome!).

One of the most stunning locations I’ve stayed in. Elegant in the old way and well maintained. Amazing balcony for dining above the pool and lovely Taxco. I extended my stay.

The staff was great and went out of their way to make my birthday celebration a memorable experience.

The only negative thing I can think of would be the drive to get there. The road is very steep and the recent rains made the cobblestones very slippery. But that's not the hotel's fault.

Location, amazing view. Friendly staff. Lots of entertainment for kids, ping pong table, giant jenga, pool, pool table etc.

Food. If the food would have been better I’d give this property a 10. They should offer discount on the cable car for hotel guests.

Garden room was quiet and comfortable and still had a view. Beds were good. Everything worked fine in the room. Pool was clean and water was comfortable at this time of year. Enjoyed sitting outside in the evening looking down on the city and sipping some Mezcal. They even had fireworks and musical performance one night.

Beautiful view on Taxco and nice rooms. Very good for family with children as there are plenty of games and activities to keep them entertained.

The restaurant is not so good and the service was extremely slow.

The view was amazing. The grounds were beautiful and felt like old Europe. a bit like a fairy tale on top of the mountain. The room was spacious and the patio area was nice for smoking and watching the stars. The little bottle of wine was a nice touch in the mountain view suite. Very romantic and lovely. The staff was great too. I was a bit lonely by the pool at one point and the waiter brought me a pretty plate with a rose surrounded by chocolate and berries. ..made a lady feel special

The pillows were lumpy.

The location of the hotel and above all, the view. the pool, the funicular (original way to travel)...the colonial style of the hotel...

a safety box that didn't work; generally speaking, staff was quite buisy and was not so kind.
