Love the architecture and the location. Very centrally located. Several beautiful balcony areas to hang out, fantastic views. Very nice outdoor bar area with fantastic city views. Very, very friendly and knowledgeable staff, including front desk, porters, waiters. The restaurant has fantastic food. Loved the hot chocolate drink.

Room is quite big, but I wish there was a comfy armchair or a small sofa to sit in. Bathroom on a small side, but very clean and everything worked well.

This property is massive and feels like an adventure on its own. Everything is comfortable and the pool is unmatched. My friend and I had both thought we would do quite a bit of exploring in Taxco, but ended up spending most of our time at the pool. When you do want to leave, the entire town is at your doorstep. The staff is also incredibly nice.

All rooms are not created equally. The first time I stayed we were in the basement and while it was quiet, it is a bit weird. On my most recent trip we were near the pool and the bathroom is incredibly small.

This is a lovely, traditional, Mexican hotel. Very atmospheric. Our room was large and comfortable, and it had a fine view. The location on Taxco's Zocalo was perfect. The hotel is within easy walking distance of everything a tourist wants to see in Taxco. The hotel's restaurant was good.

This hotel, like most of Taxco, is good only for people in reasonable, physical condition. There is no elevator. So, you have to climb fairly steep stairs to get to a room on the second floor. That was not a problem for us, but it could be a problem for some people. There is no air conditioning. So, the rooms can be quite warm at night.

Hotel was stylish and interesting, built into the hillside on many levels. pool was nice. Room and bathroom were clean & cute. Loved being downtown with so many dining option outside the hotel.

Room was too warm even with fan. Was not comfortable at this time of year. Small size for two beds.

Beautiful historic hotel with an entrance right off the zocalo. Many great view options: from the room and from various terraces around the hotel. Magda at reception (I hope I got her name right) was very helpful and kind. One of several examples: I broke my glasses immediately before arrival and was having difficulty checking in. Her mother was in the building and walked us to the busy mercado and showed us the optical store. We were able to store our bags before and after check in (we arrived by bus from CDMX). The Hacienda restaurant was excellent. There is also a very good coffee shop right next door.

The setting of the hotel is perfect! It is right in the center of town and has so many different areas where you can go out on a terrace and see views of the beautiful city of Taxco and it’s remarkable church! Explore all the staircases that take you up to five or six levels of roofs. There is a wonderful pool with gorgeous views! It is rather noisy due to the streets around the hotel, however.

Our room was very small. The noise from the street was very loud! The bathroom was tiny.

The valet parking service makes it easy when you have a car. The pool area is cool, rooms are clean, and the location right at the heart of the city center is perfect!

We had some troubles with the room key card. It was an electronic card, and once in a while, it stopped working, so we had to go down every time to the lobby to restart it.

The room was perfect for us and the view from the room was amazing! The pool was nice and we had it to ourselves for most of our stay. The rooftop bar was also very nice, perfect vibe, good food and ambiance. The staff were also very friendly and attentive.

Honestly, not much to complain about. I highly recommend.

Amazing location right in the city centre (the front door is literally facing Zocalo), which makes it perfect for morning and evening walks around and absorbing the beauty of Taxco, as well as for silver/souvenirs shopping, eating out etc. The hotel itself is very atmospheric, with breathtaking views from terraces and good facilities. Lovely breakfast and friendly staff!

The mattresses were too hard for our liking, but otherwise we spent a comfortable night.

The location on the main square was excellent and surprisingly the room was fairly quiet. We got a room on the lower level and in the back, there was no view, the window faced a small alley with only minimal foot trafic. Ear plugs are provided so i guess other rooms are not so quiet. Shower was great. The onsite restaurant maybe had the best food in Taxco. The valet parking fo 100 pesos a day was great. Taxis are 30 - 40 pesos so no need for a car while you're in town. The hotel pool and bar are great, very European feel back there.
