The location is excellent, in the centre of Schagen, close to all the bars and restaurants and a short walk from the train station. The room was very comfortable, everything provided that you need. Breakfast in the morning is also very good.

Communication could have been better when we tried to check in. There was no one at the property and we had not been messaged to say that the host would be late or that we could pick up a key somewhere else. As we only had one day in Schagen, we would have liked to be able to leave our bags at the property, and come back later for our room.

Lovely room. (Ours had a kitchen and terrace.) Awesome host; provided any assistance needed, whether it was suggestions for things to do, advice on local places, or drinks and/or meals on site. ) Louek is a great cook, so if you're looking for a special meal, look no further. We had a fish plate and an Angus steak(which was incredible!) The peach crepe dessert was the perfect finish! Take a look at his menu - lovely meal and fair price.

Be aware that parking must be outside the'downtown zone', so you do have to find street parking and walk a block.

Hospitality! We came in like wet rats and Loek helped with the bags, dried our dripping motorcycle jackets, and made us feel really welcome! The bed was terrific, and a hearty breakfast was served. We were locally right in the town center.

I've stayed in many B&B and this has been by far my best experience. Room was super cozy and clean and the host created a very nice and funny atmosphere. Top location to have a good nights rest in the center of Schagen. Thanks for everything Loek, we'll be back!

Quiet, clean & centrally located. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The room is comfortable and light. Breakfast was yummy.

It would be handier if the electrical outlets were closer to the end tables by the bed. My charging cable is short and it couldn’t reach the table while charging easily. My phone fell on the floor like three times. it sounds a bit fussy, but it would be handier, so I’m sharing this tip. Otherwise, it was very comfortable.

Everything. If you like cozy little spots to stay, THIS is for you. The rooms are nice and super clean. the hosts really pay much attention to detail. The breakfast was plenty and really great, again considering our needs (e.g. Loek boiled my egg a bit longer without me asking for it since he knew I was pregnant). really, highly recommended - we will we be staying here again if we end ob in this area for another vacation.

Nothing. just be aware that the stairs are quite steep (as typical for the Netherlands).

Can't say enough good things about the hospitality at this B&B. Beautifully renovated, quality linens, quiet setting in the heart of town...I won't look anywhere else next time I come to visit. The host used to own his own restaurant, so book a private dinner inspired by family recipes!

Amazing hosts - they even prepared a birthday surprise, delicious breakfast with different options for my dietary restrictions, lovely rooms (we stayed in two different) and very convenient location. Communication about our spontaneous arrival and adding another night was also very quick and friendly.

Nothing - all good. No parking on site - but easily found a place a few mins away (free) o/night…to be aware before arriving by car.
