In a perfect small town, small meaning one restaurant, small cottage was secluded away from all other cottages. Newly renovated which was nice. Once able to reach the staff by phone, he or she was super helpful. Thank goodness for wifi, or wouldn’t be able to reach anyone.

Although there was a map of the property, when arriving after hours, it was hard to locate the small cottage that was across the street. Maybe a visible sign or clearer instructions could have helped. I walked around the property for 30mins trying the code in every door. I like to think I’m pretty smart lol no air head here lol

The cabins exceeded expectations and we ended up having the sauna to ourselves for the weekend. Nice to find a dog-friendly place at a very reasonable cost so close to the Easter long weekend. The location is perfect for a weekend of exploring around the Port Renfrew area :) thank you!

Neither cabin had a corkscrew and I couldn't find any staff on site to help, so it'd be handy to have those added to the cabins for the future!

We stayed in the one bedroom Cottonwood Cottage. It is spacious for two people. It was well finished and comfortable, with plenty of seating. We enjoyed the outside gas fireplace, It had a good vibe.

The large pillows on the bed look great but are too high for sleeping. The fully equipped kitchenette is a bit of an over statement- just a microwave , toaster and kettle. Fair enough, but if you are self-catering, keep it simple.

We were very warm and dry during a very wet day. The cabin looked newly renovated. It was all fresh and clean. It was a short drive to the pub for lunch and we spent the day playing cards. Was very surprised at no stove but the kitchen was well stocked and managed cooking with the microwave.

This is not a complaint but we could have used a couple of water glasses. The wine and beer glasses were adaquate.

Fantastic hot tubs, game room and saunas. They had two available. Across the street was a cafe and fish and chips trailer …. Around the corner nice restaurant and the pier.

Would have been nice if you could just rent fishing rods and daily licence. We could get a fishing charter durning our stay! Also rental Of beach chairs and day cooler for the beach down the road!

Very easy check in with the code. Stayed at Sitka suite, across the road from the office. Suite is small but cozy, warm and clean. Nevertheless I kinda missed view from the window. There is basically NO view at all )) but your very own gas fire pit and bbq grill were great. Also they have pet fee if you travel with the dog, but nothing for their comfort is included, not even a bowl. Bring your food. Otherwise you gonna be pretty doomed later in the evening. Next door pizza place works till I believe 3pm and local pub is closed at 9. There is a convenience store in the village but your options there are very limited. Less than 5min walk to the marina, 5 min drive the beach. Many trails around.

Being in a 2 bedroom detached cottage at the far end of the property provided peace and quiet.

The couch in the living room definitely needs to be replaced as the faux leather is badly missing and could see the layer underneath. Actually put a sheet over the main couch as a sanitary precaution. Also the love seat couch is very low.

The place was just perfect for my wife and I who were on a short vacation (without kids) after a long time. We stayed at the Sitka cabin. The cabin was very clean and comfortable and perfectly located right next to a cafe (with great coffee & food) and a <5 min walk from the Renfrew pub (with great beer & food). We loved the vibe of this town, and had a fantastic visit to see the tidal pools at Botanical Beach (our reason to visit) which is just a short drive away. We will certainly come back and will consider staying at this place again. The staff (whom we only met briefly during our stay) were also very friendly and welcoming.

There was really nothing we didn't like.

The property far exceeded our expectations - we stayed in cottonwood cottage and it looked exactly like the pictures. It was spacious, very clean and comfortable. We loved having the mini kitchen to make our packed lunches and it was great to be able to chill out on the sofa at the end of the day. Nb - some tips - lots of comments say that there is no phone signal. I had good phone signal - I think it was upgraded recently. Also there is a shop in town but it’s limited so would recommend bringing stuff with you - if coming from Victoria along the south route, stop at Sooke. The pub (just a few mins walk away) was great but busy so you might need to wait a while

The shower is a shower curtain type and the lock was a bit fiddly to get the hang of. I also couldn’t get the wifi to work on my phone (my partner’s worked fine). But these were small things and again, we felt we had really good value from the property.

Great location, very roomy, bright, clean and had everything I needed. Loved the private outdoor space. Very quiet and relaxing.

I would like to suggest that something be put on the shower floor to prevent slipping. It was very slippery so I had to put the face cloths down on the floor but not over the drain so I could stand without slipping.
