After reading some reviews we were slightly anxious about our stay but there was no need to be at all! We had a comfortable room with a door leading out to the balcony where we could sit. Cindy makes the most amazing breakfasts - different every day - didn’t know what we were getting but they didn’t disappoint! The outdoor swim spa/hot tub was lovely. We enjoyed our chats with Cindy during breakfast. Only 2 rooms (the other being downstairs) and I’d recommend the room we had. Towels for outdoor use provided.

We would have liked tea/coffee making facilities in our room to use at our leisure but we were provided with tea/coffee/hot water/milk when we messaged Cindy throughout our stay. As others have reviewed the property is full of the owners personal items and could be changed to reflect this but it’s a welcoming and cosy and homely B&B so if you’re looking for a place which is corporate and everything the same it might not suit you. For us being a very long way from home, in many ways it felt as though we were staying with friends.

The room was immaculately clean and beds and pillows very comfortable. We had a large and very tasty breakfast (no choices, apart from food allergy needs, but omelette, potatoes, bagel, tomatoes, yogurt and strawberries, tea / coffee.) Good location with parking easy walk to the town centre and lake. We enjoyed getting to know Cindy the next morning over breakfast as she chatted to us.

The check-in process felt unusual with the need to sign a full legal waiver to use the Spa. The pre-arrival message was full of rules and "do not's" so we were feeling uncertain as to our welcome when we arrived. Initially, it felt like we were not in a BnB but staying in a stranger's house whilst trying not to impose.

The swim spa was great and the reason why we booked here. The room was large, clean and quiet. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic and chatting with the host was lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and close to walk to Jakes for dinner across the Foot Bridge .

We had to use the front door which set off a bell and we felt guilty for making noise going in and out.

Close to the lake and restaurant, friendly and helpful host, good breakfast included.

Order to wear masks in the house, even when no-one else was present, appeared exaggerated to us.

I very much valued secure storage for my bike, and laundry for my bike clothing was beyond expectations. The spa was a welcome reprieve after a long day in the saddle. Thanks again for your warm hospitality!

Friendly, helpful host and a great location with off-street parking. Amazing breakfast! Really enjoyed trying the spa pool.

The perfume scents in the soap, towels, and sheets mean this B&B wouldn't be a good fit for someone looking for scent-free accommodation.

Nice B&B. Everything clean, breakfast was great. The whirlpool had about 39 °C so that we could chill after a long hike. Thank you for the great hosting!
