The service was exceptional! We had a problem getting there on time. As a result we needed to call for someone to come check us in. It was 2 o'clock in the morning. The night watchman was kind enough to allow my husband and I to come in and wait in the lobby as it was cold and snowing outside. Due to the late hour I had woken the lady that came to our rescue. She was absolutely great! Checked us in, and was training the night watchman for future services at the same time. We came over for a celebration of life the following day and this lady took her time offering her condolences etc. And again in the morning when we had to check out. I'm sure we'll be staying here every time we travel to the Duncan area, as we already have a few times in the past. But this particular management...she knows how to treat people and gave us every courtesy considering I got her out of bed to come over in the middle of the night. The overall cleanliness of the room was also exceptional. Some places we've stayed have been... a bit scary to say the least.

For that particular stay, short as it was, everything was great. Couldn't have asked for better.

Comfy bed, lots of pillows good. Your linens were great. Very nice bedding. Cleanliness of room.

The surrounding street messes left by homeless. Hopefully the street people will get relocated to an institution. No one bothered me but their presence is obvious. I live with Pandora Avenue issues in Victoria. Thank you for providing security.

Well maintained and easy access to all necessary stores,etc

Had absolutely no problems, but the number of street people in the area was a bit worrying. Also the fact that the restaraunt attached was closed. Ate there lots during a previous stay and found it to be excellent and very handy.

It was very convenient for the Swim Meet we were attending at the Duncan Aquatic Centre. It was close to eating establishments, and easy to find and exit. SO GLAD the Air Conditioning was really good !! Very Hot weekend, and coming back to the room was a big sigh of relief !!

Wish I had a bit more time to explore Duncan. It was a pretty intensive weekend at the pool, and all I really wanted to do once done the day was head to my room, have a both, and get a good night's sleep in a wonderfully cool room.

The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. The view over the water was lovely and there were good restaurants close by. Especially The 50th Parallel.

A comfortable chair would have been a great addition. The Thunderbird was a pleasurable stop.

It was close to where I was working, and it was very clean.

There was nothing I personally don’t like. Over all I think the property was well keep.

Walking distance to a few different restaurants was good after a long day of driving…although not the best area of town, we felt quite secure. It was quiet, comfy and clean

Really appreciated the laminate floors (no carpet), blackout curtains, and lack of intrusive chemical fragrance smells which so many cheaper motels overuse. Beds were medium-firm, which we like! Friendly check-in.

No tea bags or kettle. Hairdryer was not in intuitive place.

There was no breakfast, the location was excellent.

Inside trim could use a little white paint, & flooring could be updated , bed where comfy & clean. Staff very friendly.
