Loved the decor, lots of attention and care went into all of the furnishings that provided an old school charm. We enjoyed hanging out in the common lounge area and enjoying the selection of books and games. Nicely stocked tea/coffee bar with lots of tea options. Pillows for the beds were comfy. Len was very kind and thorough with getting us set up and Steve the manager (cat) was an absolute delight to spend time with during our stay.

I think we pulled out an old book or magazine that was quite dusty and it ended up giving my partner an allergy attack.

Very good location; near town center. Very comfortable king bed and very nice shower. Excellent communication and check-in/out instruction from owners. Very homey and welcoming guest house with coffee, tea, cookies, books, games, puzzles, etc. in the common area of the house. We loved being welcomed by Steve the cat; he did an excellent job as the guesthouse host; we miss him already!

There is nothing we did not like but as we had the entire guest house to ourselves, we felt quite spoiled!

Charming guest house that allowed our group of 6 ladies to be together under one roof and share the common living space but have our own bedroom and bathroom. Was great!

Their cat stays in the main house with the guests. This is not explained on the website. Steve the cat is adorable and we all enjoyed him but 3 of our group had allergies to cats and had to take allergy pills

Wisteria Guest House was absolutely wonderful! It was so much cuter than I thought. It was decorated so beautifully, and the gardens are gorgeous. Everyone has a seating area outside with Adirondack chairs. There are coffee and cookies all day and a beautiful living room. There were many very thoughtful details. Len, our host, was so friendly and helpful with telling us what to do on the island. We will definitely come back here again. It was truly a bargain for what you got.

An absolutely amazing stay at Wisteria! It’s such a beautiful quaint cottage thoughtfully designed. Would love to see what the experience is like when the guest house is full as there are so many things encouraging collaboration like puzzles and board games which was so lovely! I fell in love with Steve, the cat who is so affectionate and playful. The owners are very kind and considerate and ensured I got there ok and gave me a map showing me how to go to different places. Loved the pops of colour throughout the cottage which gave me English countryside vibes. Will definitely come back and stay again :)

Nothing bad to say at all. Would have loved something special for my birthday though :)

The lack of breakfast service at the guest-house or a near by coffee shop to purchase breakfast items. Since we arrived to the island by boat and docked at Salt Spring Marina we had no choice but to walk to the guest house late at night x2. The cabs were too slow or running late on the nights even though we had pre-booked our reservations. Fortunately, we came prepared with our flashlights and good walking shoes.

The little extra touches showed that the hosts cared about their guests. Some of these included the responsiveness of the hosts to requests/questions whether on line or on the premises itself, availability of vanity items in the bathroom, water in the room, the homemade delicious cookies, hot brewed coffee in the morning, granola bars & the great room is set up to be comfortable, especially providing puzzles, books etc.

Only con would be thin walls as we stayed in the main guest house. Maybe sound proofing may help.

Pre arrival communications were very good. We also liked that we were staying in a separate building than the owners house - all the rooms were like that. We were there two days and would have only seen the nice cat, if we didn't lock ourselves out of the room. Very private and quiet.

I couldn't turn off the noisy little fridge and there was a warning about unplugging

From the moment we arrived, We were greeted with warm hospitality and friendly staff (Steve, their cat, was there to greet us too). The guesthouse is located in a quiet and serene neighbourhood, which was perfect for a peaceful getaway. The room was clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was comfortable, the linens were fresh, and the room had plenty of natural light. I appreciated the little touches like the complimentary tea and coffee, which made us feel welcome (Especially the Ayurvedic copper vessel for drinking water). Overall, I highly recommend this guesthouse to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

There aren't any notable things to mention in which we were not satisfied with.

I had king size bed with four king size pillows and my own washroom with handheld shower. Plenty supplies of toiletries and towels. The highlight was the assorted cookies and coffee/tea station non-stop supplies. A small fridge for real milk and creamer. There are assortments of jigsaw puzzle which I entertained myself before going to bed.

Everything was provided for including maps and lists of restaurants as they don’t provide breakfast anymore and the host explained it honestly. The host gave brief description of the facility including the studios.
