The bed was very comfortable, and the room was spacious for me to do my morning tai chi. The lighting was good, the curtains worked, the "closet" was roomy. Really appreciated the nespresso maker and the in-room fridge. Also the chilled lemonade and lemon water in the reception area. Location was super!

Very nice job on the remodel, except leaving the lights on the patio on all night long was a huge disappointment. I had to leave the "blackout" curtain closed all the way, all night, instead of being able to sit outside in the evening under the stars looking out at the harbor lights or watch the moon from bed. Really missed seeing the Salt Spring night sky. The light in the bathroom was motion-sensitive, which meant it came on in the middle of the night when I walked into the bathroom, this is a terrible experience, I had to tape a bandaid over it so I wouldn't have trouble getting back to sleep.

The rooms are clean and spacious, lots of counter space and a great view. They allowed us to store our e-bikes inside which was nice. The front desk staff were friendly and accomodating.

The restaurant onsite was easily one of the worst dining experiences we have had. The restaurant was empty when we arrived at about 11:30 am. There was one server who was very inexperienced and should not have been left alone unsupervised. Our meal took an hour to arrive at the table. When you are the only one in the restaurant its a bit concerning. When finally the food arrived, some of it was overcooked and some undercooked. We didn't even eat half of it. It was horrible.

The Harbour House Hotel is a truly beautiful, modern hotel with spectacular harbour views and within a few minutes walk of the Ganges hub. It was extremely well-appointed, comfortable and clean, with excellent amenities. Each staff member we encountered was wonderfully welcoming and helpful.

A bit pricey overall, but nothing not to like. A very nice touch was free access to the quite-expensive breakfast buffet on one of our three days stay.

View over the harbour was lovely. All the staff we encountered were really nice, professional, and helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable.

We were a little puzzled as to why the restaurant was located in a darker and rather small back corner of the main floor (with no view) and outfitted more like a sports bar, rather than located in the potentially expansive front of the hotel to take advantage of the big windows and lovely view of the water. The food we had on two occasions was quite good, but it seems they are missing an opportunity to have a destination restaurant attraction with higher end fare on the Island. Also, though the stairs (we counted about 29 steps to the second floor) seemed newly refinished and attractive, it would be lovely to have an elevator for the comfort of older folks like us. However, to be fair, the staff mentioned several times they would be happy to assist with baggage.

Pleasant room and view from balcony. Staff very accommodating. Good location and easy walk into town.

Water is too hot - could easily get scalded. Shower leaked and not enough places to hang towels. Separate packets of sugar instead of opening napkin/S&P packet every time - picked some up at the restaurant for the next day. Microwave would be nice. Luggage rack to put suitcase on. Room very clean but outside balcony needed sweeping and table and chairs needed wiping down - very dirty and bird poop on the chair.

Excellent food. Excellent location.

The toilette seat was replaced with one that did not fit properly. It slid around when you sat on it. We told the front desk lady and she said she would tell maintenance. Nothing happened. Some response or compensation would have been appreciated. Besides this one complaint, everything else was excellent.

The new renovations are amazing. .we stayed in a lovely room overlooking the harbour with an enormous patio with lounge seating.The young man I think Chris who checked us in was efficient and friendly. Have stayed at this hotel in its various incarnations over the last 40 years and this is the best it has been in terms of comfort and high standard of rooms.Parking is easy. Despite feeling very new ,there is still a lovely atmosphere.

I think the catering will improve ,but the restaurant and bar were not always open and the people running breakfast were a little disorganized. I hope this improves as this hotel has fantastic potential and we will certainly return.

It’s conveniently located right in the town by the harbour (as its name suggests). You can tell the hotel is upgraded with new furnishings. The small little things adds up: The front desk service (although understaffed) was impeccable. Because there was only one person working, there was a long wait, and the staff gave us an upgrade to an ocean facing room. Small gift upon checking for the guests.

The staffs are helphpful and kind. The location is ocean front and quiet. The parking spaces are plentiful. The room is basic but spacious and new. Despite remote location, wifi is good.

Not fancy but it is basic and ok. I wish their restaurant has good review, since the hotel is located 10 minutes from the downtown.

Great location, very helpful staff like Mo in restaurant and the two guys on the front desk when we needed advice or help with transport. Clean rooms, good food options in restaurant

Room was quite dark with no main light. Hard to book the shuttle bus. No elevator.
