We had a lovely relaxing weekend in this beautiful setting. The service from staff was excellent. The room was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the deep bathtub. The fireplace made a rainy day cozy. Coffee and a breakfast basket with muffins, yogurt and muesli was appreciated and the fruit compote also went well with the cheese and crackers we brought with us. The room was appointed with 2 coffee cups and two wine glasses. We enjoyed our two meals in the lovely restaurant. We would be happy to return in the future.

There was nothing we didn’t like but would have appreciated soap/bath gel for the bathtub and body lotion. We did not use the spa (outdoor hot tub) or the gym (a yoga studio with equipment in a storage room). A guide to all the facilities and amenities would have been helpful as well.

The location is amazing right next to the ferry and with beach access. Loved being able to walk straight out of our room onto the grass to enjoy the view. The service was also excellent. The morning breakfast basket was a nice touch.

It was a bit tired. Our mattress was at the end of its life and should be replaced. Shower was very hard to operate. Few other things were broken or tired. There weren’t any gluten free options for the breakfast baskets though.

This place is just amazing! We were in a villa on the ground floor! It had everything and more! We cooked our own food on the barbecue outside! We had sunrises with a cup of tea and sunsets by the fireplace! I cried with happiness and thanked the universe for the opportunity to see this beauty! I loved this place with all my heart and dream to come back to this hotel to our villa again!

Of course you can pick on all sorts of little things, but I couldn't see anything but the beauty around me!

Spacious apartment like room with spacious covered deck with fireplace, built-in BBQ, and spa tub. Large separate bedroom with comfortable king bed. Amazing location on the water near the ferry. Looking forward to our next visit.

Spa tub water on deck was brown, couldn't keep fire going in fireplace (also difficult to start, matches didn't light), heated floor in bathroom didn't work, tv in bedroom wouldn't work with remotes, could do with a better coffee maker. Hopefully all fixed by next time!

The property is on the water with a little path down to a cute beach. We watched the ferry come in from the lawn in front of our room. Rooms were basic and clean. After reading other reviews we were very worried about what it would be like. We were very happy with the cleanliness and the water in the rooms was clean out of the taps. The food in the restaurant was good. There were 6 of us in 3 rooms and all of us said we would definitely come back.

Beautiful location, room looked out over the water. A bit dated in the room but bed comfy and it was clean. Shower had good pressure. Restaurant on site was very good! Staff were nice. Mural in the lobby is stunning. Wee breakfast baskets they make for you are nice. Galiano island is gorgeous, we just loved it. Visit montague bay, bluffs, sat farmers market, hike mount galiano and bodega ridge. Highly recommend thai food at wild 1 and lunch at babes in the woods was excellent! I had the lamb rump at the hotel restaurant and it was delicious.

Room needs AC. This should be added to the suite. Was warm at night and couldn't leave windows open as no screens on them to prevent bugs getting in. Recommend a toaster in the room. Hot tub was dirty and not working, no one let us know about this, this was a bit disappointing.

Absolutely stunning view! This cozy, small hotel offers a perfect blend of comfort and charm. The friendly personnel made our stay even more enjoyable. The SPA facilities were exceptional, featuring a relaxing massage, the cleanest steam room, and a hot tub with an ocean view. Highly recommended!

Body lotion is not provided in the bathroom.

The view from the room was stunning, especially the sunrise! Wow!!! Although we only had a queen room, it was more spacious than I expected. The washroom was also a great size and included a tub which I prefer over a shower at the end of a day of exploring trails and beaches. We enjoyed our tasty dinner at the restaurant on site and the service was very good!

The mattress on our queen bed was too soft and lumpy and ready for a replacement. The breakfast basket was awesome & varied with fruit, yogurt, oatmeal & a muffin. It was convenient to grab the basket between 9-5 every day - but I was curious to know whether the muffin and the oatmeal was GF. A little note in the basket would have been handy. Yet minor overall.

A brief orientation upon check in would have really helped us. Info up front about the onsite restaurants/hours, spa, hot tub, yoga studio, housekeeping, etc. It was a little confusing and would have helped us out to get that info up front.

Enjoyed the view, loved hearing the waves lapping on the rocky shore in the evening while sitting on our deck, the restaurant meal was fabulous, and the 'entertainment' of watching the ferries passing was fun.

We liked everything!
