The room was very CLEAN. I'm not sure if these are new owners, but it is obvious that they are updating and making improvements as they can. I like to support the little guy and stay and these kinds of "mom and pop" places, rather than the big chains, when I can. Having said that, I know that some of the places are going to be much, much older than the big chains, but to me, that doesn't matter. What matters most is if the place is clean, and this place definitely was! When I stayed, it was clear that they had just painted all the outside doors (masking tape was still in place) and it looked very good. Flooring was clearly new and they had brand new air conditioner units. Efforts to improve the place is obvious and for that, they get full marks!

They need to remove and replace the bathroom sink vanity because the old one is made of pressboard and had experienced water damage and swelled. (Why do they even make them like that when they know it will be used with an area that will have water???) However, it was CLEAN and there was no eveidence of mold or anything unsafe or unhealthy. In any case, I'm sure that is likely on the list of next improvments.

Beautiful location in a nice neighbourhood, walking distance to shops, groceries, beach with miles of walking trails. Suite was very simple and as-expected for a motel of this description but it was everything we needed -- things were older but quite sufficient, the suite was a little run-down but paint was new and everything was clean, it was great to have the double room (second bed in a separate room, great for travelling with kids) and the full kitchen was sparsely but sufficiently stocked.

The bathtub was a little hazardous as it was elevated on a ledge, the tile step to access it had no padding on the edge and there was quite a sharp point on the edge of the one stair, with no safety handle/rod or anything like that; also, the hot water was scalding hot and the shower function was a bit odd in that it wouldn't fully switch to shower, so the shower water and bathtub faucet would run at the same time however at different temperatures (shower was warm while bathtub faucet was streaming scalding hot water at your feet). It was certainly the most cautious part of our experience!

The room was cozy and clean. The bed was comfortable and linens were clean I could reach the city easily by bus. This location is very good if you want to be close to the ferry for Victoria. It is a walking distance to the Tsawwassen Town Centre. Front desk clerk was very helpful and friendly. Housekeeping staff was very good in keeping the room tidy. I sure will come back next time.

Honestly, this motel exceeded my expectations. I guess it might have been better if there was one more little table in the room. Or another chair would be nice.

Good value for the area. It's clean it's safe and it's inexpensive. Staff was very friendly . Love the coffee shop up the road - frog and wood or something like that.

The bedside lamp turned on and off with the light switch as did both plugs at the only Outlet near the bed. So once I turn the light off the charger I plugged in there wasn't charging and my phone was dead in the morning.

Host was very accommodating and friendly. Location was great! 5 minutes from where my son was playing baseball. Neighborhood was lovely, didn't have to worry.

Building is a bit run down and old. The beds were not the comfiest.

This motel is very quiet at night. It is right beside a golf course. The location is perfect if you are taking a ferry. The price is low as this is an older motel. I have stayed here 3 times now. I noticed they replaced the tile in the bathroom and the tv. There is a toaster now in the room. There is a super beach very near and a lot of restaurants. Compared to any other rentals in the neighborhood this was the best for our budget.

Great location between YVR and Tswassen Ferry terminal. We flew in late and needed a bed for a night. The manager left our room key in an easily accessible safe. Communication with the motel was perfect. The unit was warm, clean and had a comfortable bed - what more do you need! And bonus..., a coffee maker with coffee provided for the morning! If staying longer the fridge would be very useful. Hot shower was great in the morning and off we went. We would definitely recommend Beach Grove for a short stay. Price was right - $99 + t. We're never big on spending a few hundred bucks for an overnight stay - why spend more when all you need is a bed.

Nothing - all was good and as expected fof the $$$'s.

We stayed at a double room. did like a suite like with kitchen and utensils. We liked the area, very close to everything. Richmond, BC Ferries and hwy 99, which gets me to I-5 across the border. It's a quiet area by a golf course. The staff was very friendly.

not much, you know this is an aged well motel. The Lower Mainland has very few motels from the 1960s left. small thing like no soap and shampoo holder at the shower place. but this can be ignored.

Staff was very sweet & accommodating! Very cute property in a good location. Easy to walk to the beach and convenience stores near by. We would stay here again.

Air conditioning was improperly ventilated so the room stayed pretty warm.

Clean and comfortable for an overnight stay. Friendly staff. Quiet. Close to a wonderful natural area with trails that were great for a short or extended walk. We saw bald eagles from our doorstep. All amenities are close by.

Shower (shower handle) could use an update and deep grout clean. No wifi.
