The property was so beautiful and in a very nice neighborhood. The host, Brian, could not have been kinder. He told me a lot about Vancouver which was great because it was my first time there. The breakfast was amazing! Linda went above and beyond any expectations. Brian picked me up from the airport and drove me to the port the next day for me to start my cruise. I will definitely use Stone Hedge B & B again in the future should I find myself in Vancouver again. 10+

Brian was the friendliest and most hospitable host I have ever met. The service was outstanding the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. We really appreciated the free pickup from the airport. I wholeheartedly recommend The Stone Hedge to any traveler.

A minor criticism. There is a high step into the shower/toilet area in the bathroom we used and, as we are two elderly women, we found it very difficult to climb up and down. A handrail attached to the wall would solve the problem.

We got in late 11:30 pm. We came into Vancouver the night before a trip on a cruise. We took a Taxi from the airport to get there. It didn't take very long to arrive. We were greeted and shown to our room. The room had 2 twin beds and was pretty small, but it served it's purpose. The breakfast was awesome. The owner then took us to the cruise line for a charge. He also gave us some history about the area. Very friendly and would recommend.

His van that takes you to the cruise line could use an extreme cleaning,

It was beautiful.

We stayed in the jungle room , it was a tribute to brian's parent. Well done and very secluded with your own court yard. With 70 year old grape vines growing on the roof, with grapes currently on the vines. You get treated with fresh homemade jelly and a spectacular breakfast and a har if jelly to take home. Brian will give you a tour of the area when he drives you to the port, he is very knowledgeable. The orange brandy in the room was a added bonus, especially after a long flight.

Brian is the composite host! He picks you up at the airport with bottles of cold water, can talk on almost any subject and ensures all your needs are met. A wonderful homemade breakfast is provide the following morning, and he will drive you to the sky train if needed. Our room was very comfortable and well-equipped, right down to the orange brandy for a night-cap. A small shared kitchen area provides coffee, tea, biscuits and other snacks, as well as a microwave. The coffee machine is set the night before so all you have to do is hit the on switch! There's a shopping plaza only a few blocks in one direction and a beautiful waterfront promenade in the other. With the ferry only 30 minutes away, it was the perfect location for us!

Breakfast was amazing! The room was comfortable and clean and our host was very informative.

After arriving and not being able to stay we left our bags and wondered through fisherman's wharf and all the area at the hosts suggestion. When we arrived back the office at 4pm check in time, the office was locked and there was no clear visible sign to ring front doorbell. We rang the ring camera twice and got no response. We ended up getting another Uber to dinner after a very long morning and being tired. We just wanted to get off our feet and rest. Maybe a note on their site that the front doorbell is where you go to check in. Being it is a home in a residential area we felt it inappropriate for us to ring the front doorbell.

The hosts, Brian and Linda, made sure that everything was perfect for our stay. Linda allowed us to drop off our luggage early, and then provided maps and information about Steveston where we spent the day until our Safari Suite was ready. We were blown away to discover the room came with a private garden patio, and the pool was just outside those doors. Linda made an AMAZING breakfast that included a fruit, yogurt and granola parfait, carrot muffins warm from the oven with homemade jellies made from the grapes and crab apples grown on their property. Then THE BEST Eggs Benedict we've ever had. Brian was the consummate server. The bed was comfy. There was a basket of snacks, and a mini fridge stocked with beverages for us. There was even a little brandy on the nightstand for a nightcap. Sitting out by the beautiful pool, surrounded by the tall green foliage made me feel like I was in paradise.

It was great to be both picked up at the airport and dropped off again there on our departure. Brian was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The bus to Steveston is only a two block walk away and it runs every 15 minutes. The visit to this historic fishing village was well worth the trip. We had a delicious, beautifully presented four course breakfast each morning, with homemade sauces and conserves. Being a coeliac I appreciated the gluten free cereal and breads. What a lovely garden Brian and Linda have: the rhododendrons were out when we visited and the pool looked inviting. We enjoyed our stay and will spread the word about this B and B.

Wonderful location in quiet street, gorgeous outlook from the room, exceptional furnishings in the Africa themed room and super quality bedding , the room opened onto a private courtyard with loungers under grape vines with a table for outside dining. Adequate bathroom facilities and the most wonderful couple who are your hosts. The best breakfast we ever had in a B&B ,served with a smile by Brian and prepared by ‘Chef’ Linda. To top it all off, Brian collected us from the airport and ‘taxied’ us into downtown Vancouver .

Absolutely nothing.

As usual our stay (this being our 4th)at the Stone Hedge was once again exceptional! As well as complementary shuttle service to and from the airport, accommodations were especially comfy with all the little extras including comfy bath robes, slippers, right down to a brandy nite cap on the house and chocolates on the pillow. Brian and his partner go well above and beyond, attending to our every need, with service worthy of any 5 star establishment. The included multi course breakfast is superior beyond belief! During our stay Brian also treated us to a complementary sampling of his delicious home made meat pies made the old fashioned way (chocked full of chunks of meat and veggies), which are available for purchase only in Southern B. C. Many thanks again Brian for another wonderful stay! Rob and Mary Morgan
