Very easy access to the airport, quiet location.

The owner was pleasant but very fastidious with the cleanliness, so much so it made us feel a little awkward. On arrival the landlady told us that she could upgrade us to a downstairs room, then proceeded to charge us for it. On top of that a charge was levied for cleaning the room, which is a leftover product of covid. Sad really, but we wouldn’t use again.

The position was good within reach of a good restaurant.

We were asked to pay an extra amount for Covid cleaning which would not have been a problem if there were fewer ornaments etc. Breakfast was chaotic as more than one room of guests came for breakfast at the same time and there were chairs.

The location is very convenient, right next to the airport, and close to all the great restaurants in Richmond. I can hear the planes occasionally, but only when I really pay attention. The noise never bothered me at all. The entire house is beautifully decorated — unique, artistic, and elegant. It’s also very clean. The owner is incredibly kind and thoughtful, providing a variety of fresh fruits and breakfast options for guests. It truly feels like staying in a warm, welcoming home.

No breakfast available as we left at 4:15 am. The location was convenient for our purposes. The family was very friendly and welcoming. Very helpful in checking in for our air flight and sending to my email.

No TV or computer/printer was available. No guidelines on whether any food, coffee, tea or snacks, etc. were available.

Location was very near to airport and is a very silent neighborhood. Breakfast at the facility was simple (Bread, fruits, butter, jam, peanut butter, coffee) but good. Our host Vivian was very kind, welcoming and super helpful in guiding us in all ways as we were new to Vancouver. Vivian has a sweet home and felt like a family for the 2 nights that we spent. The room bed and cushions were good and very well maintained and clean washroom.

- Little cooking facility would have been good, especially i prefer to have scrambled eggs and coffee. Not that I asked - There is no nearby quick pick up stores like 7 eleven, so if you are hungry look for food later at night, its a struggle - May be just once off : Entry on the 1st day was difficult for us as we arrived early before check in time and there was no way to connect with the host and door was locked. So we had to go behind the back doo to get help.

The best assset of this property is the owner/hostess! she was very accommodating by waiting up for me due to a delayed flight and very nice to talk to.

Good neighborhood, with fantastic sights of the parts of the ocean. The scenery in the evening is magical. I wish I could be there once every two months and at least twice or trice a year to enjoy the property

hospitality of host is amazing. she is full of life and it makes one feel so welcome as a real home away from home. She gives you all you need and she allows you to use the entire space as your own. She is clean, patient and loving. i would recommend her place to be in for any long or short term stays

Host was friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and clean. It's in a beautiful location that is also very convenient.

Had to pay a $20 cleaning fee once we got there, instead of it being included in the initial cost of the room. We weren't expecting that.

Thank you for having me. It was the perfect little stay before my flight home to Melbourne, Victoria, AUS. You have a beautiful and welcoming home. Just a short walk to the bus stop to catch the 401 to Richmond Centre for a little wander around and shop to grab some snacks for a 20+ hour flight! Location was perfect – only a 10 minute drive to the airport.

The owner was very nice and accommodating, very careful about hygiene and cleanliness. My room was very big and the bed very comfy, I was a bit jetlagged so I could hear the sounds from the garden but I think on a normal night I would have slept very peacefully.

I did not know how far Richmond was from Vancouver so I ended up with extra expenses along with the price for the night itself, I would not exactly say it is student-budget-friendly, but I insist on the quality of my stay there, and I think it is a good price for people who need their comfort during a trip.
