Had a wonderful stay here! Jeni and Christina at the front desk were so helpful and lovely at check in. The room was spacious , modern , comfortable , and had an amazing view. The soaps in the bathroom smelled so relaxing. Had a great sleep - rooms were quiet. The location was perfect for a staycation - you can walk to the grocery store, you can walk to the pier, or you could just stay there and enjoy their attached restaurant or coffee shop. I didn’t get to use the steam rooms (since our itinerary was so packed) but I’m sure it would have made me love the place even more. Highly recommend and would definitely come back with my husband, family members, or friends.

Thoroughly impressed with everything!

Easy check in; nice staff; no issues. Room was perfect with an amazing view. The hotel was a stone's throw from the Victoria Distillery and several restaurants, all along the waterfront. Perfect location.

More signage in the parking garage would be helpful to indicate elevators and lobby - it was a bit hidden. And more warning or mirrors for blind corners as the car Entrance / Exit were shared, but not divided.

Very disappointed w service in restaurant although the did was good. Took ages for anyone to acknowledge us, called over manager who was blase ‘ no one’s seen you yet?’ Got 2 dishes but 3rd never arrived before we had to go to catch our show at the theatre. We did not have breakfast with you in the morning. My friend said service bad last time she stayed too. So yes to the rooms and no to the restaurant in future. Pity as the food was good

Great hotel, not too big, very friendly staff

Hotel was amazing but booking.com is a problem as they book a family of 4 into a room with one king bed leaving the staff at the hotel to correct the problem and guests having to pay for upgrade. Or maybe this is by design, either way, I had a lovely stay but paid for it and then some which is not a welcome expense when you've already budgeted your stay

Beautiful hotel, very large and comfortable room. Had a nice deck overlooking the pier. The gentleman working the night shift was very helpful and pleasant.

Charge $10/day for parking. Brought the total bill to over $300/night. This seemed a little expensive, though as noted, the room was very comfortable. The only issue we had was the location. It is located in a very quiet area. We arrived at 1030 pm and there was nothing open nearby - no convenience stores or restaurants. Even the in-house pub had already stopped serving food for the night. We left again early the next morning, so cannot comment on the day time atmosphere.

This was the second time this year that we visited Sidney and stayed at the Sidney Pier. The location can’t be beat, the staff were friendly and helpful and we love the hotel cafe. Our room had a wonderful view and was clean and well maintained. All around a lovely experience. Would highly recommend.

The staff were wonderful, the location was perfection with all shopping, restaurants and ocean strolls being within walking distance and the view was impeccable. We will be happily returning for another stay.

We were not told that the parking was pay parking, we found out when we received our bill. That was a shame because we had friends close by where we could have parked for free. It's fine to charge just let the client know when you ask if they'd like to park at the hotel. We had trouble with our meal at he restaurant. They took our food to the wrong table and left us sitting for about 40 minutes without anything. We've had this unfortunate incident happen to us once before at another restaurant and they took one meal off the bill to apologize. Here we were charged full price anyway even with the long wait which was a little annoying. The food was not really worth waiting for but the lovely waitress was wonderful and did her best.

The hotel is in a great location on the pier, steps from Sidney’s small downtown area and about a ten minute drive to the ferry terminal. Our room was quiet, very comfortable and nicely furnished with a partial ocean view.

Since the hotel isn’t in an urban area, you’d expect parking to be included.

It was beautifully located, easy on the eye and understated, but comfortable. Great bed! And a balcony looking onto rhododendrons and the sea. Loved the attached cafe. Good coffee and food, plus a sunny patio to enjoy it on. Very restful all round.

Nothing to complain about. After a bad experience with a neighbouring hotel that left us without a room for the night, the staff (just about due to leave) went out of their way to help.

Breakfast not offered. The size of room with fabulous view was great 👍 appreciated the safety of underground garage. The most perfect location and yet so close to airport only few minutes drive. Sidney town is kept immaculate and interesting with unusual sculptures. Hanging baskets of flowers. The City need to be commended and Sidney Puer has to be the finest hotel.

Cannot fault anything!
