Beautiful landscape and cabins, inside and out. The staff was very welcoming. The cabins are fully stocked with all dishes/pans and a bbq you’d need for cooking and dining. They also have movies and games available for free to bring up to your cabins and fire pits by the water. We went down to the cafe for a mocha and ate our breakfast on the deck over looking the harbor every morning. The birds sing all day, harbor seals float around the docks and the water sparkles. Snug Harbor Resort is an oasis, we’ll be back!

The parking is on a hill sideways which could be troubling for people with walking difficulties.

The completely heavenly surroundings and the well manicured grounds. The silence at night was wonderful. The stocked fire pits were a plus. I was impressed by the conservation efforts of the resort. The staff was friendly and easy going about a late check-in. The personal call to check on our arrival time was very nice.

The harbor front bedroom in the two bedroom suite #1 did not have a mirror.

Accommodations, Staff, EV charging

Bench by Window had wood trim piece held by short finishing nails. Fell off when toddler was getting off. Sharp nails sticking out. Would be more secure with wood glue plus screws. Shower handle fell off by itself while daughter was showering. Good that she was standing by the opposite wall, otherwise could hit a foot. Could use something like Loctite to hold the set screw.

We loved our stay at Snug Harbor! The grounds were incredibly beautiful and peaceful, the cabins were well maintained, there were free kayaks to use, and there was a great coffee shop & gift shop on site that we used a number of times. San Juan Island in general was fantastic, and I couldn't image a better place to stay than Snug Harbor!

Stunning location, amazing views, comfortable beds, great heating and showers, nice waterfront hangout area with corn hole toss and fire pits. The kayaks and bikes are easy to rent, they gave us a pair of binoculars for whale watching, and check out was super simple. One and only area for improvement was lacking kitchen supplies. Would recommend bringing your own knives.

The location was serene... a little bay on the quiet side of the island. Close to Roche Harbor for breakfast and shopping. Close enough to Friday Harbor to be comfortable. The coffee shop was cute, and the fresh pastries in the morning were a pleasant surprise. The cabin stayed toasty warm with minimal effort (we visited in February). We loved the gas stove fireplace. The property was peaceful, even with all the families present. A fabulous retreat. We will be back.

Preamble: This stuff is all very minor. The bed wasn't exactly the most comfortable I've ever slept on. The shower floor was uncomfortable - uneven river stone tended to bruise my feet. Not a lot of room to store our suitacse in the bedroom... but we just drew the shades in the main living area and had all the privacy for changing that we needed. Someone had marred the wood paneling in the bedroom and bathroom... this is why we can't have nice things. Again... all this is minor and barely detracted from our stay.

Great secluded spot for a quiet getaway. Wonderful staff, amazing views (lots of wildlife: seals, otters, various birds), & great amenities.

Bed was a little uneven (not their fault)…

The location and view were excellent. Very quiet. I had my daughter and 2 grandkids with me. What I rented was a bit small for the people that came with me. I would get a larger room place next time. This was a 1 bedroom 1 bath. The couch pulled out for a bed in the living room. The living room was right there with the kitchen, so it was a bit cramped with 2 small kids. This place would be perfect for just a couple.

I did not get an email telling me where to go to check in and get the door code.

The views of the marina are amazing and the cabins are nice and cozy. Staff is very accommodating and made the stay that much more memorable.

The location is excellent, it is located in a beautiful harbour.

All good, nothing to complain about. Might too expensive in summer, but a lot of folks want to visit it.
