The room was great, kitchen was fully stocked. Liked that we had a electric tea pot. Enjoyed that we had a separate room for the bed. Couch was mostly comfortable and the breakfast was good. Sausage, egg omelet and hash browns.

Heater was loud, sounded like a diesel pickup was running outside the windows. The bathroom fan ran constantly, there was no way to turn it off. The tub needs to have a rubber mat, it's very slick. The fridge is very small and I feel that a regular coffee pot would be better than kerig machine. Also a larger skillet would be beneficial and not so many pots.

Wonderful place. Staff was fantastic. Suite with separate bedroom, sofa bed, and full kitchenettte. Even the sofa bed was comfortable. Excellent WiFi, perfect location. Loved the chocolate chip salted caramel cookies oat reception. Even provided a guest laundry for a decent price. Would stay here again without question.

A bit strange that there was no window in the bedroom, and the drapes wouldn’t close all the way in the living room. Also, it was pricey, and the breakfast was pretty generic for the price we paid.

Great location. Whenever I go to Victoria I stay here. Sidney is a nice little town with a number of coffee shops and boutique stores. The hotel is always very clean and the rooms are spotless. Everything works very well. The beds are comfortable and the pillows are great! I have never had a problem with the staff as they are always friendly, knowledgable and courteous. The only minor complaint is that the provided breakfast is not very good. There used to be an associated restaurant that you could get a breakfast voucher for but it has closed. Good news is that the hotel is going to be setting up a proper breakfast area as they have been approved todo so. I expect to back in Sidney for sure in November 2024 and will stay here. A new breakfast area will be nice but since the hotel is so good it really doesn’t matter. I certainly recommend this hotel.

Centrally located, breakfast was great, staff were always present and accommodating. Complementary coffee, cookies, tea were appreciated, hotel was quiet at night, comfortable beds too.

I did not like that the front desk could not make change via credit/debit card for laundry coins so I had to use their ATM which cost $4.25. Therefore my laundry cost $7.25 total, rather than $3.00. I did appreciate that they provided laundry soap/ dryer sheet.

Travelling with two children, the Best Western was ideal. Upon check-in, a surprise package was given to the kiddies. This was well received after several hours of travel. The hotel is clean, the staff is courteous, and it is well situated. There are restaurants, activities, and a supermarket all within walking distance. It is a half-hour from Victoria and only 10 minutes from the Ferry. We will definitely stay again.

Location was great, was able to book last minute, laundry facility was great. Appreciated the double sinks

The front reception lady was a little scattered when we were checking in. Nothing serious, but it was a weird exchange Breakfast was quite disappointing. The expectation had been more like scrambled eggs and toast. Having to take it back to our room was also inconvenient as we were in a separate building.

The rooms were clean front desk gentleman was friendly and helpful.

It’s looked a little sketchy pulling in in daylight felt more like a motel( picture is deceiving) almost turned away but decided to check if it was clean we’d stay . Breakfast was pretty pathetic but at least there was something to eat , seemed like the front desk was understaffed to check out guests and fill the breakfast counter ( literally a counter )

I’m not sure the name of the lady who was working that evening when we checked in.. but she was phenomenal. she deserves a raise in pay - 100%. I’m a pretty picky traveller and this employee went above and beyond to ensure my stay was exactly what I wanted/needed. she captured the spider I found and let it outside because I’m terrified.. she switched us rooms when the initial room was not up to my standard (smelled like cigarette smoke) and she was friendly, kind and professional through all of it. :)

I thought Smittys was still going to be there.. so I was a little disappointed when it wasn’t but it wasn’t a big deal.

Convenient location near Sidney town centre, Mary Winspear Centre, Swartz Bay ferry, and Victoria airport. Conveniently, they give you pre-packed breakfast to go if you need to leave very early in the morning.

Faint trace of a stale smoke smell in the room (probably the sheets). Not unusual or objectionable, though.

Staff was very helpful- answering questions, figuring out the booking (we arrived 2 days early but they were able to accommodate us and blend the extra days with the booking), figuring out my question on the washing machine, providing directions to nearby places and even found me a local map so Sidney made more sense.
