The breakfast was always solid, and the dynamic duo running the BnB were fantastic hosts. I would recommend this BnB to folks looking for a relaxing place to lay their heads and unwind in the evenings on their travels in the area who are seeking excellent value for their dollar during the stay. Added bonus: There are dogs that live on-site and meander the property who are happy for a couple scritches and to play a little fetch!

BnB's are someone's home! There are several suites and guests having breakfast around the same time. This was a non-issue for my partner and I, but I would not recommend the BnB experience to folks who are shy to interact with others.

The minute we stepped inside Jill's home, we were made so welcome and our room was so comfortable. We stayed for 3 nights and must have had the best view overlooking the Saanich inlet from our room with access to the garden, pool and hot tub. Jill's son Mark, makes the most delicious breakfast which we enjoyed every morning in the beautiful setting overlooking the bay. Their home is a dream and not to be missed if you're staying in the area. We only wished we could have stayed longer and got to know Jill more, who was the perfect host and very engaging

This is our 4th stay since we discovered this awesome BnB. We are booked for a staycation in July 2025. There is no where else we would stay in and around Victoria. We love the location for accessing the beautiful Sidney by the Sea with great shopping, restaurants and sea walks plus only a 25 minute drive to downtown Victoria. It is a 10 minute drive to Butchart Gardens. Full breakfast ( love Mark’s new hash browns ), spotlessly clean, super comfortable beds and free parking. Looking forward to relaxing by the beautiful pool on our return in July. Jill, David and Mark treated me like family while my husband was in hospital. I can’t thank them enough for their care and concern.

The location is absolutely stunning. The B&B was easy to find and close to everything however very private in a heavily forested area with beautiful ocean views. The home and grounds are beautiful, the bed was comfortable and the home cooked breakfast was delicious. Our host Jill was such a sweet and accommodating lady and it felt like we were staying at your favorite aunt's house. Luna one of the B&B's dogs visited with us several times a day to play fetch. She was super adorable.

Mrs Jill, the hostess is ready kind and caring. The property has everything you can imagine of a vacation: a cozy and tidy room, a cool pool with basketball set, a hot tub with mountain and sea view, a sauna next to an indoor wide living room, beautiful interior design, and two extremely friendly border collies - Abby and Luna. We feel like being taken care of, and wish we could have more time to just stay in the BnB, enjoy the amazing view and playing with the dogs. We will definitely come back here when we visit the island.

Beautiful location. Very quiet and peaceful. Room was clean and comfortable it had an incredible view. Hosts were great, very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was excellent, lots of choice. We were very surprised to find a swimming pool and hot tub. Nice walking trails around the property. It’s close to the airport, 20 min drive to Victoria 10 mins to Buchart Gardens and Butterfly World.

Wonderful hot breakfast every morning. Jill gave us options for breakfast and was very flexible with the time. On our last day we had an early flight and Jill packed us a to-go breakfast. The room was beautiful, comfortable, and very clean. The property grounds have a beautiful garden, pool, hot tub, and are frequented by their two border collies who like to play fetch.

We had a lovely stay with Jill, David and Mark. The views were absolutely stunning. The hosts were friendly and attentive and very respectful of giving guests their space. The pool and hot tub were absolutely fantastic and we were the only guests that used them during our week stay, Mark kept them clean every morning and would close the pool late in the evening and Luna kept us company while in the pool bringing us sticks to throw for her, even the smallest pieces of bark mulch would suffice! The Opal room on the main floor was lovely. The bed was comfortable and having the deck right off of our room with our own seating set was the best, we spent every morning reading and enjoying the view and enjoying the incredibly relaxing, quiet atmosphere. Breakfast was a lovely addition, we had 3 meals cooked for us the first few days and then a continental breakfast during the week while we were the only guests there with the best homemade croissants, bread and danishes, yogurt and granola and fruit as well and hot coffee, water and orange juice to chose from. The main area had a mini fridge for us to use for any snacks or drinks that we brought for ourselves. There were 4 parking spaces for guests to use and a beautifully paved driveway from the main road, which was steep and very curvy to navigate in the dark but we quickly got the hang of it, I would definitely rent a smaller vehicle next time as the Ford explorer we were given felt massive and like it took up too much space in the parking. We certainly hope that Jill and David continue to run rae leigh heights as we definitely want to go back and stay again!

The location was extremely peaceful and quiet, with the most beautiful view from our room!! The home was beautifully decorated, and guest areas were well apointed. The hosts, Jill and Dave, are wonderful people! They made sure we had everything we needed and just to ask if anything was. Breakfast was delicious every morning, and I would not hesitate to recommend Rae Leigh Heights B & B to any of my friends or family! We really hope to go back soon!

There was absolutely nothing we didn't like.

I needed to get some relax time and this B and B fit the bill. I had a fall in Sidney before I came and Mark helped me out with his first aid skills . Dave helped as well. I liked to leave mid day for a big lunch and bring a sandwich back for later as I really felt good just sitting on the patio and looking at the view. One of the dogs was my bud and insisted on stick fetch and frisbee fetch. Jill and I had a great conversation one night. Dave makes huge croissants and great egg dishes for breakfast. All in all, it was great and gave me so much needed relax time. Absolutely recommend
