The food options and change of buffet theme was great. The dog (volcano) was incredible and so well behaved.

All was great until from Wed to Friday evening. Friday evening the new manager on duty (Pravesh) came on and was so extremely cruel to the dog on site in a country where religion is so important and that it specifies not to be cruel to any living being is huge I was shocked! The dog was so well behaved would sit and not harass the guests yet the kids were running around like lunatics screaming and shoutinf and nothing was done. (I get kids play and have a good time and I do not fault that) but what I saw destroyed the amazing time I had at the resort completely.

Absolutely loved the activities that came with the all inclusive package (glass bottom boat, snorkeling, kayaking and some other activities). Great spot for snorkeling as its in blue bay marine park. Rooms was cleaned daily and staff were friendly.

The Buffet was okay, could have been a bit better. Spa treatments could have offered discounts for all inclusive guests. There was a friendly stray dog that most guest loved but the staff kept chasing him away or when he saw a staff walking towards him he would run away. With the stray animal issue Mauritius has, maybe look into giving them a meal instead of chasing them away.

It was the best holiday ever. Incredible staff, beautiful beach and the snorkelling round the reef was amazing. The food at the hotel was 5 star. The kitchen even cooked up our catch for us after we went squid fishing. There was always a great selection and plenty of choice. The lady who makes omelettes in the morning was the best. The lady who cleaned are room was so friendly and did an outstanding job. I got my nails done and had 2 massages in the spa which were incredible! The thing we will truly remember is the friendless of all the staff, they couldn’t do enough for us, so professional and always with a smile. Especially Santos who worked on the bar! Thank you again!

The place renting out the kayaks ran out of snorkelling masks so recommend you bring your own as the ones in the local shop cost €40!!!

Being on a private beach with activities included with my stay. The staff was super friendly and professional, and the entertainment every night was superb and on point.

On our arrival date, we didn't get the room we booked and the room was not up to standard with no view, and they tried to offer us drinks at the bar and food which we had already planned for, but glad they corrected this the next day after we declined the offer.

Everything, we spent 7 nights in December. We arrived earlier than the check-in time at Le Peninsula. The management staff was extremely accommodating and had our 3 rooms available for us in no time. All the rooms were immaculately clean and tidy, and we were so grateful for their fantastic service. We were on the AI option, and I must say that the dining experience was phenomenal. Especially dinner time, each night was a different variety of eats and desserts, not to mention dining theme. We thoroughly enjoyed the menus and the entertainment. We also felt so comfortable at Le Peninsula, the dining staff, Vidiowich, Degee, Praeesha and Lavin, to name a few, were always accommodating our requests, going above and beyond to ensure that we're comfortable and just making us feel at home.. we really enjoyed our stay and it definitely felt like our home whilst we were there. Thank you, guys, you really did a phenomenal job 👏 🙌 👍 👌 ❤️. We will definitely be back again in the future.

Not a thing

The hotel has a fantastic location at Blue Bay and very close to the airport. The coral reef made it a paradise for snorkeling, however, the beach area was not ideal for swimming due to the reef, so it’s best suited for those who enjoy exploring marine life. The dining experience was excellent. The animations were a lovely touch, making our nights lively and engaging. The animators feom Club Coralia and the restaurant staff were very friendly. One of the highlights for us was the variety of free of charge water activities, including snorkeling, stand-up paddleboarding, and kayaking. The room balcony provided a relaxing space. The New Year’s Eve celebration was also well-organized and memorable, making it a special highlight of our trip. We found this hotel to be an excellent choice for an adventurous vacation.

The design of the room was puzzling with the toilet located almost inside the wardrobe. The staff at the reception and pool were quite unfriendly which made certain interactions unpleasant. No fresh juices provided, which felt like a missed opportunity to elevate the breakfast or dinning experience. Most of entertainment were conducted in French what made it less engaging for non-French speakers.

I loved the tropical feel of the property. The beach and the reef is definitely the best part about this resort and everything was so beautiful

There was only a few tweaks I’d make to this hotel that I think would make it better. The first providing refreshments and snacks in the room. Second, being providing shampoo and conditioner. The last I’d make is making the bar all inclusive free for the 24hrs and not just until 11pm. This last thing to me I found quite strange. These are the only small changes I’d make.

Beautiful pool, great access to the beach, nice variety of good tasting food, and the one night we were there, the entertainment was good. The manager and some staff were really good and understanding. Were we had issues in our room which we were really unhappy about, the manager Kaynash(mind the spelling) was readily available to try and sort out our issue, and ensured that the rest of our stay at the resort was a pleasant one.

The deluxe room we had matched the pictures as advertised, except for the bathroom which had a bathtub shower, of which did not drain water quick enough. Thus, when showering (tall people would have a problem with this shower) the water came up to your ankles in the tub. Also, although the rooms and facilities were really neat, the finishings were really old and needed some professional maintenance. For example, the door handle in the bathroom was replaced, but you could still see the hole from the previous handle on the door, or the tub itself had what looked like rust lines on the tub.

The dinner was enough and nice. The food was delicious. Dessert could be better.

There was a big cockroach on the bathroom at night :(

We had a great room, looking out on the sea, which I would strongly recommend. The covered balcony was really great, especially when the weather was not that good to go outside or when it was raining. Make sure you clarify exactly what you want when you ask for "sea view", as their interpretation varies from a sideway peek of the sea to a full frontal view depending on the room you are in. Snorkeling right off the beach fantastic. Also went snorkeling with the glass-bottom boat, which was free. Snorkeling gear also available for free. The half-board worked great for us and the food was good for a 3-star facility. Free use of the sauna was a great added benefit that may bring us back. My overall rating would be an 8.5.

Staff friendliness varied from wonderful (especially staff at boathouse) to a variety of very good to ok at reception and good to ok in restaurant. The staff in the restaurant are too few I suspect, as it was often hard to get someone to come and assist. I did not like the poor communication when trying to get answers to questions from the hotel beforehand. I repeated one question about Internet reliability three times, days apart, and only received my answer when I got there. This is so easy to improve on...not sure what the problem was.
