I go periodically to visit my son who lives in Salida. I always stay at the Microtel Inn. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I like a certain room and am usually able to request it. The rooms are clean, comfortable and pleasant. I have a hybrid car that charges on a regular house current which I am able to do on their back door plug. There are also several faster chargers for those cars that need them. Free breakfast is available too.

My first time staying in this hotel and I was very happy with how new and clean the property was and thought it a great value for the price paid. In the pat I had been seeing this property go for $139 a night and Igot a rate of $79 so this sealed it for me. And absolutely I would stay again !

The room was very beautiful and comfortable. Also, the staff members were very welcoming during the whole stay.

Although I did not partake in the breakfast, it did not seem like there was a lot of options upon first impression. I do wish the pool opened for a little longer before it is shut down, but other than that, everything was pleasant!

I liked the close proximity to the freeway, shops and restaurants. It's set back a little from the town, so it's not as busy. As close as it is to the freeway, you couldn't hear much once you got inside.

I wish there were a few more options for breakfast.

Nice staff! Clean. Comfortable bed. I even had permission to charge my Toyota Prius Prime on the side parking lot. It takes a regular house plug which they have outside. I was able to travel around Modesto electiricly. It was cold weather so the heater kept me comfortable.

Would have liked a microwave in the room to heat up my leftovers.

Is close to my sons home, and all things . Staff is always friendly, hotel always looks and feels clean. Most of all it’s peaceful when I stay there no matter if it’s busy or not with other guest. I will keep returning to this hotel as my go to stay when I come to visit my son and grandson.

Honestly nothing so far. I work for a hotel so I know what needs to be done and they GET IT!!! :)

Room service did not make my bed. I had NOT put the sign to be left alone, and I was gone for most of the day. I came back by 9pm and the bed was not made and the trash was still full. MAYBE there wasn’t enough time. MAYBE I had to ask for it. Was not a big deal, but odd. I’m not used to that at a hotel.

Check in was easy, very nice lady. They have 24 hour snacks. Room is spacious. The hotel is close to the freeway if you are traveling through.

No eating places are within safe walking distance at night. Although the room size is great, you hear the freeway noise. The elevator is scary slow. The maids woke me up twice before 9AM for no reason. In my opinion, $15 over priced per night.

It was a lot nicer then I expected, especially for the price! It was 3 minutes from the wedding we were attending. The bed was a pillow top and quite comfy. Yummy breakfast and really liked the magical pancake maker 😋
