A holiday in das Alois is simply a holiday you dreamt of. Everything is fantastic, starting from accomodation through wellness to catering. I have never ever eaten so well prepared food and have not experienced such a caring attitude of all the personnel of the hotel as here (special greetings to Czech waiters Stani and his woman partner). ...And the every evening tradition brought by the founder of this all, Mr Alois (who is over 90 years old) consisting in interviewing the guests in person how they are is just moving. Including the evening he came to sing traditional Tyrolean songs to the guests. Incredible. I am very happy I was there at the time I could meet and get to know him. To sum it up, in das Alois you will feel like at home and the ski possibilities which are withing walking distance just magnify all the good sensations. You will never make a mistake when booking a holiday in das Alois and I would like to express my warm thanks to everyone taking part in this incredible family business.

The location of the hotel was perfect for us. Using our hire car we were only a short ride away from the Hinter tux glacier ski lifts. This friendly, family run hotel provides exceptional food throughout the day with a comprehensive and healthy breakfast, a buffet in the afternoon of both savoury and sweet snacks, ending with a 5 course evening meal with plenty of choice. We greatly appreciated the excellent facilities of the spa with both indoor and outdoor infinity pool.

We loved everything about this hotel, from the excellent location and delicious food to the friendliness of the staff and every detail that made our winter holiday unforgettable.

interestingly, there is no fridge in the 4 start hotel rooms. There must be a reason for that.

Breakfast in hotel was of high quality. We have had looking for the moment we get to the table and choice of bread, cheese, bacon and salami, yoghurt, eggs was fantastic. The dinner was real culinary experience. We have appreciated the choice of meals, including every dinner the fish and some nice meat. Variety of salads was extraordinary.

Unfolding sofa for 2 kids was with quite hard surface for sleeping. Otherwise the size of double room for 1 adult and 3 kinds was very good.

The place is perfecf !! The people are very nice! The food is great ! It s quiet and it s a place where you can relax and enjoy the beauty of the nature in a very pleasant way! I can t wait visit it again !

Absolutely stunning experience. I was feeling at home. Perfect service, wellness activies and every day wonderful dinner with 5 course degustation menu prepared by a rockstar chef. Great location, really close to the shuttle bus for Hintertuxer Gletcher. Also just next to the Eggalm skiing resort (not as good as Hintertux).

We really enjoyed our stay at das Alois. The rooms are very cozy, stylish and clean, all staff members were friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the swimming pool and rest area after a ski day. Breakfast was amazing with lot of options. The Skibus station as well as the Ski-rental is few steps away.
