Stay was very comfortable. I am coming here for the 2nd time due to its room and in room facilities. I will not comment on the breakfast since I am not a big eater myself. Suffice to say it was adequate. On the 24th of July which was my check out day, during breakfast, I asked for a strong regular coffee. It was Superb!

My in room telephone for inhouse assistance did not function. For dinner on 23rd night, i asked for a tomato soup( which was good) and untoasted tomato cucumber sandwich. The sandwich was OILY ON THE OUTSIDE WHICH WAS TERRIBLE. THE FRENCH FRIES SERVED WERE COLD. I pointed this out to the serving staff at the restaurant and they did change the fries but no reply for the greasy sandwich. Very bad experience. On the 24th morning, while having my breakfast, the restaurant supervisor came and told me that my room rent did not include breakfast. I informed her to check with the reception since I had paid for the same on arrival. This, I thought was quite insulting. You cannot ask a guest these kind of questions in a restaurant where many others are dining. Not expected from a Star Hotel.

Everything worked! This may sound odd, considering that it's a 5-star hotel but the number of times I have had to complain about things not working in a 5-star room in the recent past made this trouble-free stay a welcome change. Room size was reasonable, furnishing and lighting was adequate, breakfast was very good, staff was extremely friendly and efficient, wifi was fast with good coverage.

There was a bathtub stuffed into a corner of the bathroom. I think the space would have been better utilised in the main room.

The restaurant for lunch and dinner had a good selection of foods

Upon checkout I was offered to pay in INR or GBP, as the card I was using was a UK card I thought it would simplify the billing if I paid in GBP. Upon checking at a later point I found that the bill of Rs 50666.66 would convert to £465.98 at typical market exchange rates however the rate used by the hotel came to £535.33 which was £69.35 more due to their exchange rate which I think is excessive and perhaps they could have warned me

place is exceptional. The 2 guys from reception Mehul and the other one were really prpfoessional and helpful,I Like their pool sp I went for a dive 2 hour after I checked in It was cold even the weather was so hot so it feels so refreshing that time.. the next morning I just didnt like the girl approach who is incharge in welcoming the guests in breakfast,I forgot her name,she needs rest I need to improve her way of dealing w the guest..but the manager in the restaurant, it was the other woman who approach each guest made sure we enjoyed our meal. All in all a reall 5 star stay.. kudos

She needs IMPROVEMENT..if she has problems at home she better not bring it at work.5 STAR IS ALL ABOUT HOSPITALITY AND FINESSE and she better not intimidate guests weather shes alone, couple or group or whichever they come from different walks of life. - Toiletries could have been different.. the products are vegan which is good but the output is not as good as expected.. this is a very subjective observation but worth mentioning

The breakfast was amazing The staff was really nice and helpful The best part was the bed it was so comfortable I loved every bit of staying in the hotel.

The cleaners would forget to vacuum or to mop the floor which was a downer for such a high class hotel.

After check out from crown plaza , went to stay in courtyard Marriott Sindhu bhavan rd one night , very bad experience. Then I felt crown plaza was any time better . 👍

Jacuzzi : no hot water . Hight very small . Place/hanger to keep cloths for changing after bath/jacuzzy . Breakfast time was up to 10.30 . After that immediate within 10 minutes closing. At least give guest 30 minutes to finish breakfast

Crowne plaza ahmedabad needs to improve : 1) Kitchen staff English speaking 2) Diversify fruits (only five sort of all the time!) 3) Invoice calculation biaised (payment by card/cash are getting twice taxes!!!), and no specific rates vs. USD is referred for my reconciliation.

Very sumptuous array. Gujrati farsan section was disappointing.

A businessman needs a nutritious hot breakfast. A menu suggesting combos( separately for veg and non veg) which he can try should be on every table. It becomes difficult to choose when there is a large array of foods.
