A lovely town; we saw no other tourists, but everyone was very friendly. The square we overlooked was a fantastic illustration of how well such a space can work, full of happy children in the playground, and the more senior population chatting in the shade. The castle is a gem, and in active use as a venue. Donato was more than enthusiastic, speaking all his copious advice into his smartphone for instant translation!

If you have heavy cases the stairs can be a challenge, but that's not a criticism. The shared kitchen wasn't a problem for a few nights. Probably would have preferred exclusive use for a longer stay.

A beautifully decorated apartment in a block right on Crotone beach. The duplex suite has been furnished tastefully and is very comfortable. Rosa was amazingly helpful and her communications were excellent.

Nothing. We only stayed one night on route to Sicily but could have stayed longer. The brakfast at a local caffe / geletaria was great (coffee and cornetti).

This property was a delight. The host was so delightful and pleasant. He was so excited to share his family home that he turned into a bed and breakfast.

The bed is quite short - 180cm long I think

A good base to tour the south of Puglia.The hosts were very hospitable and ready to offer advice.

The owner is really very kind and helpful and the room very comfortable and cosy. Very central and plenty of cafeterias and restaurants around. Only 3 minutes by foot from the castle and very easy to park. Very, very recommendable!
