Sweet hotel, nestled along a stream. Food was delicious and the waitress was super professional and friendly. Very clean too which is for me important. Easy parking. Best: location: from hotel, you have 2 castles in walking distance (1st in 1 km, 2nd in roughly 2-3km). Also, across the stream there is historical lyrics interesting casemates.

For me, the location was excellent because I wanted to do a few walks in that area. The room was big, bed was good. I loved that there was a bath, I wanted to relax my muscles after 20km walking. Easy parking.

Restaurants are only open during lunch time, unless it's Friday/Saturday(/some on Sunday). Even the restaurant of the hotel wad closed. On a Wednesday it was very difficult to find food in the evening, luckily I found Pizza Toon's in Niederbronn-les-Bains. Also: breakfast was not included!

This was my third time at the Hotel du Windstein. It has so much charm, is super dog friendly and the food is exceptional. Staff are lovely and the prices very fair

This time the people in the room next to mine stayed up late and I noticed how thin the walls are... This is a cheap and cheerful place that others would describe as needing renovation, but I love it just as it is.

Small, dated hotel but the rooms were scrupulously clean, the bathroom and facilities were excellent. Good, comfortable beds. Breakfast in the morning was very good.

Clean and well maintained property. Staff is very helpful and comprehensive. Best blankets I've seen for this price level - goose down duvets.

Guests ha e to use restaurant back doors, not very comprehensive from the beginning. Some signs or explanatory information in property details may help.

5 min from the climbing crag. Super large and comfortable room, delicious breakfast with good french cheese. Pet friendly.

Only stayed one night, nothing bad comes to mind.
