I upgraded to a king room. Big, clean room. Big, comfy bed. Nice temperature in the room. The heater got us toasty in 5 minutes. Quiet hotel! Breakfast was included and it was great. Fruit salad, yogurt, tasty scrambled eggs, toast (had gluten free for husband - he appreciated that), and nice coffee. Also offered juices, bacon, sausage and hash browns. Mystic dining room was nicely decorated and comfortable. Reasonable price in off season. And only 90 minutes to Twillingate to see the amazing icebergs. Gander itself is a great town with lots of bistory and lots to do. This was my first stay at Sinbad's, but not the last I hope.

It was all great.

The bacon,toast,coffee, and sausages were good. The scrambled eggs were not good. The fruit salad was ok. The staff was friendly. The beds were comfy. The room was really clean. Lots of ice on each floor plus vending machines. The restaurant looked lovely. The bar was also lovely and a nice place to relax. Great location.

The main Lobby was a nice size but dark and out dated. The artificial flowers by the elevator on the second floor need to be replaced or cleaned thoroughly. Our room had very little natural light from the window because we were about three feet from a solid wall.

Location, staff, food, cleanliness excellent ! The carpets need a re- do as they hold dirt & smoke smells. That said, I will stay & recommend the hotel. Front desk, restaurant, and Susan in the bar is phenomenal!!!! Well organized & executed service. Keep these lovely folks there working. In my travels it absolutely makes or breaks the overall quality. Cheers 🥂 Lois

As stated, rugs & walls in hall are sad

We had a very nice stay with a deluxe room, which was very spacious and a lovely meal in the Mystic dining room that evening and an unbelievable hot breakfast. The next morning that was included with the overnight cost! The staff were so friendly and it’s very close to the Smallwood arts and cultural centre where you can see “come from away” and well worth going!!! Very pleased!!!!

No complaints!

We loved the location! Right in the city and very easy to walk everywhere. Beds were very comfortable. Everything is clean. The housekeepers worked very quietly. You can’t hear them when they are in the hallway, which is a great plus. Appreciated water dispensers in the lobby.

For $161 + taxes a night, it wasn’t exactly cheap. So we expected the hotel to be a little more updated. It was clean, but not very inviting. Front desk staff weren’t exactly friendly or helpful.

The room was very spacious. The staff had the morning breakfast (included) down to a science. Three written options were provided for the client to choose and then table service to deliver the choice to the guest. This approach moves away from the traditional buffet and certainly lends itself well in these times of ensuring good health. Overall well done to this team!

The hotel itself... all that is beyond the room... could use some updating. So much is gained from a client's first impressions when viewing hallways and furniture. Though notable this did not distract from my comfortable stay.

The reception check-in was welcoming, quick, simple and no hassles. We liked all aspects of the room. This was an exceptionally large divided room (King) with ample space, sofa bed, king bed, chairs, computer table and chair, two TVs, two and half baths and plenty of counter space with fridge and coffee. The bathrooms were all modern, exceptionally clean and refreshing. The King bed was unusually comfortable and a fitful nights sleep was not an issue for sure! The breakfast that was included was well beyond any we had experienced in other hotels in this area during previous visits. The food was excellent, service awesome and the overall ambience was welcoming. Plenty of coffee, smiles, and just plain friendly staff! The breakfast food was definitely well prepared, well served and enjoyable!

Two minor dislikes: 1. The parking areas were crowded and it was difficult to find a place for our small SUV. In some instances it was an issue with other not so courteous users who parked poorly and overcrowded (as in sloppy parking) otherwise useful spaces. There was an overflow at the far back corner but it was out of the way and very much out of sight. 2. The spacious room had a beautiful counter space with storage below for whatever kitchenette items one might have with them. Unfortunately there was no microwave available although the electrical outlets seemed adequate and space was available but no microwave. It is noteworthy that none was listed so there was no expectation anyway, but still.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. The included breakfast was hot and cold buffet. We had supper in the restaurant. The food was excellent and wait staff exceptional. Overall the atmosphere was friendly and comfortable. Highly recommend.

Best free breakfast in a long time. Three good choices served at nice tables. WI-FI was excellent! Room was huge and had kitchen sink, mini fridge.

Unfortunately the breakfast was too good; the line-up to get in was quite long and there was a rather long wait. TV was small and not adjusted right. It felt like watching a 70's portable TV. Could easily be much better if someone took the time to set up the proper setting. The place was a bit worn down and could use an upgrade like new carpets in the hallways. I would have like to have 2 bath towels, there was only one.

The hotel was very nice and quiet. The room was bigger then I expected. It was across the road from a mall if you needed anything and close to main stores. It was right off the highway which was easy for sightseeing. The breakfast was very good and filling for a day of exploring.

There diner in the restaurant was very expensive. But no big deal there are many places around to eat.
