Location. Quite. Comfortable beds

When we went to check in with a remote check in, the lobby wasn’t open. We waited 15 minutes and then left a message, another few minutes and rang a bell that connected to a remote service provider. He was new but nice, after another few minutes he called back to say the manager had remotely opened the lobby door. Problem solved and the directions to gain access to. The key via a code provided worked well. Very cool technology, just a slight glitch.

The room was very clean and the beds comfortable. The design of the room itself was good. We liked that we had 2 entrances/ exits.

The toilet in the bathroom needs more room around it. Very tight fit. They came into the room when we were not there and freshened up the room/ emptied garbage. They did not tell us this would happen and there was no do not disturb sign to use. We didn’t want them in our room.

Large windows, but we were in the back so we only saw a building! Clean comfortable rooms with all the ammenities. checkin was super easy and convenient. Right across the street from the lake.

The toilets were very finicky! But there were no issues. the mosquitos were aggressive and plentiful, no fault of the motel! but we must have destroyed 20 that got into the room! Be sure to close all doors each time your go in and out.

The space was inviting and clean. Enjoyed having our own space to cook and relax. Would have been nice to have a couch in the room as well, just to have an extra spot to sit. We had a minor issue with our room, but the front desk staff were available and quick to rectify the situation, all through text - it was awesome.

Out stay was for a few days, odd how or what was cleaned and checked on a daily basis.

Staff accommodated changes to arrival and departure times due to weather conditions. I was in town to watch my son and the Fort Frances Lakers, and the game schedule was postponed two days due to the weather conditions. Thank you for this! I will be back next season!

The fridge was set too cold and I could not locate the dial to turn it down. Some of my drinks were starting to freeze.

Check in with no staff is super easy! We even had an issue with getting our key (we didn’t get the passcode for the lockbox right away). Sent a text to the staff and within minutes everything was taken care of! View is great right on the water!

Tried to get some ice for water cups right before checking out and the lobby was locked until check in - really no big deal though!

It was conveniently located and easy to find. The view out front of the water was pretty. They have chairs outside so you can relax. The key box retrieval was fun and the staff was super friendly and helpful when I didn’t receive my code to open the box. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

The room door and bathroom door was a little hard to close and you almost had to slam the front door to close it.

The self-check-in was easy and well-explained. The room was super clean, and the location right by the lake was fantastic. The location is near everything you need, including restaurants, groceries, and gas stations.

The bed was on the older side, but still ok.

Location is great for dipping through NW Ontario. Clean, easily accessible rooms. Friendly staff, lots of small amenities for road travellers. Great place to get a good nights sleep or two.

The single set of curtains. Add a light filtering curtain to the room windows and it would instantly improve the privacy and make the rooms more enjoyable while getting ready in the morning. Cheap but impactful change.

The view out our window. Watching The sunrise was amazing. Like the option of a full kitchen.

The toilet was a bit low for my liking. I’m disabled and was hard to sit down that low. Also would have loved to have had atleast 1 grab bar to hang on to getting in and out of shower/tub.
