We stayed at Acer Cave House for two nights with our family and had a wonderful experience. Our room, which had balconies, was absolutely lovely. With the heavy snowfall, the place transformed into a winter wonderland—truly magical! The staff were incredibly efficient and kind. On our last day, our travel plans were interrupted due to the heavy snow, but the hotel staff were very understanding. They moved us to a new room and allowed us to stay free of charge until 5 pm, which was very thoughtful and much appreciated. The breakfast spread was lovely, offering a great variety of options to start the day. While the hotel is 5 km from Goreme, we were more than happy with our choice. The rooms were nicely heated, and despite the outside temperature being -5°C, we didn't face any issues with the warmth inside. Overall, a fantastic stay with excellent service, and we highly recommend Acer Cave House for anyone visiting the area!

We had booked the balloon tour through the hotel, which unfortunately got canceled due to the weather, but we understand that was beyond their control.

This place captivates you from the first visit, the hotel is extraordinary with options that make you truly appreciated. This is the 2nd time we have returned to this place and I would come here whenever I had the chance. Masar Donmez is an exceptional host and if you step foot in this accommodation, ask for him. I left this place with the regret that time did not stand still for at least 1 decade.

Staff was friendly and although not all of them spoke perfectly english it was more than enough to provide extra care for us! I appreciate the view from the hotel and that it was close to local shops and a supermarket. The transfer and tours provided by the hotel were also punctual and decent! Our room was huge, clean and warm.

Ortahisar is not really exciting and communicative as the rest of the villages nearby which the price doesn’t reflect

We truly had an amazing stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely interior decoration in the entire hotel and room. Very clean room and a very, very comfortable bed. Varied breakfast. Nice, quiet location with its own beautiful view from the terrace. Not too far from Goreme by taxi. Highly recommend - we would return tomorrow if we could!

From the moment we arrived we were treated really well. They served us tea explained to us the area and what it has to offer even gave us local tips before showing us to our rooms. After expressing about other rooms and upgrades Faxri was kind enough to show many rooms until we choose the one we liked. Faxri was amazing he made sure we had everything we needed and always checked in on us. They were very accommodating with everything helping us book places etc. The staff was immaculate and the food at the restaurant was really good. The rooms with Balconies are the best to relax with family and friends at night over tea and order a fruit platter. Over all this is a really great place to stay.

The property is out of the way of the hustle and bustle, yet at the same time you can easily get a taxi etc to travel to the main attractions (which is what we did). The rooms were stunning, including the terrace. We had a very peaceful stay, which we only had because of the staff and more importantly Akbar. He is an absolute credit to Acer Cave Hotel. Goes above and beyond for customers and ensured we had THE smoothest stay. Cannot rate him and his hospitality enough. It’s a lovely, quiet hotel, I literally cannot think of any crazy negatives.

The only only small thing is that there’s not really many places to eat within walking distance of the hotel, but it’s still definitely worth the stay and as mentioned above, taxis can be arranged easily.

The beds in the rooms is not comfortable, we even moved to another room, although it was better it was not really comfortable.

The hotel was fantastic. Lovely decor and the staff were very helpful and attentive. The room was amazing with its own hot-tub. The staff decorated it for our honeymoon.

It would have been nice to have a pool but considering the location, probably not possible.

Everything was amazing! Staff and management were super friendly. They did everything possible to make our stay a memorable one. Loved the rooms, very comfortable and well kept. Balconies are a nice feature. The terrace was also very cool, you get to see everything. Breakfast was also good. We had a brilliant host called Akbar who was such a great help. Also the hot air balloons from this property are so cheap, we only paid £89 per person!

There is an annoying 9am wake up call for breakfast, which isn’t ideal if you had a late night.
