I rang motel from Hay while on way to reconfirm (originally booked online) and person who spoke to me told me where to find key. Beautifully clean, comfortable and welcoming room with everything, eg. kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge with good sized freezer, instructions for how to work TV and make sure where button switched on to work aircon. Excellent aircon. Quality towels and bath mat. I also received text re room number, key and so on. I recommend this motel to anyone seeking a comfortable rest after a long drive!

All good! All in my remarks about what I liked.

Our room was serviced every day. It was very clean. If you want cutlery and crockery and a microwave you need to contact reception and ask for it. There is no actual reception desk at this motel and everything is self check in and phone contact. The staff are very prompt at answering questions. We had a room on the 11th floor with wonderful views and it was very relaxing although the sliding door on the balcony had to be kept shut a lot because the traffic noise was very loud. also within easy walking distance of the main street and pier. I would definitely stay at this motel again.

We were running a bit late so gave Tammy a call to let them know. She said no problems, will leave room open and key inside, and then sent a text message to confirm. That worked well. The room was spacious and well appointed with Microwave, toaster, kettle, small fridge and crockery and cutlery. T.V and air con of course and all the little things including a box of tissues. I guess it is getting a little tired, especially the bathroom. However, it was spotlessly clean and quite comfortable.

Capri Motel is perfect for a stop over between Canberra and Adelaide. The room was big, cool and clean and had everything I needed and the pool was fantastic on a hot day! My cat was allowed to stay with me and I could see all the other guests had pets with them too. It's rare to find accommodation that allows this but so important for those of us travelling with furry friends so thank you Capri Motel for providing this service!

When you drive in the lawns and gardens are beautifully manicured, a lovely first impression. The room was very clean and well equipped with everything you would need for one night stay, my husband, myself, and my pet were quite comfortable. Check in and out was very quick and easy.

There was very little I didnt like and it is more of a suggestion to add to the comfort. The aircon for the room was loud, old, and not very efficient at cooling the room. Carpet also seems like a bad idea when regularly housing pets as well. They tend to hold smells no matter how clean they are.

Warm welcome by owner and staff members for us and our dog after many hours on the road. Parking right in front of Room 5 meant no distance to carry bags. Very clean room, fresh linens, extra pillows and most important a wonderfully comfortable bed. Plenty of hot water for showers. Informative booklet re takeaway meal options and local attractions. Thoughtful little extras like a can of odour free insect repellent (didn't need to use it though). Best value for money of all our accommodations during this trip). Great overnight location between Adelaide and Canberra or Sydney

Air conditioner was very effective on the hot day but a little too loud for us to sleep with. New owners do plan to renovate.

The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and considerate, which was great as I was tired after a very long and late drive. The room was spacious, and the bed was large and very comfy. The water flow in the shower was hot and strong, and the towels were soft. The location on the outskirts of town meant that the noise of traffic was not noticeable. The fridge ran quietly, which was great! The owner was happy to arrange late check out, which I appreciated a lot. The room was great value for money and I recommend this hotel for weary travelers looking for a comfy place to stay with a warm welcome.

The fridge was a bit small, however I was glad that it ran very quietly and that the ice section kept my ice blocks frozen. In the bathroom, I was surprised to find some paint peeling off the top of the wall as the rest of the bathroom and main room were spotless, well laid out, and modern.

We were moved to Sturt Motel, which was in a very quiet area. It is very close to a nice short walk along the Murrumbidgee River with a suspension bridge. Shaitu, the manager, is very friendly and helpful. So was Paul, who had to move us from Capri to Sturt because of some drainage problem. The room is warm, and clean with comfortable bedfings.

I have stayed at the Capri Hotel many times, as I travel between Sydney and Adelaide to visit family. Balranald is an excellent halfway stop overnight on the Sydney to Adelaide leg of the trip. The rooms are always well presented, with the usual facilities. The beds are comfortable, the heating and cooling is efficient, and the rooms reasonably quiet, given it's location at the end of town on the main highway.

I always considered the Capri the budget option for accommodation in Balranald. I have stayed at other Motels, some better, and some worse. The Capri was always cheaper. This last trip, the tariff was on par with the 'nicer' motels, yet I feel the Capri is not yet up to their standards.

I would have liked less room spray - I find aroma overpowering but that is what they have dog cleaned the room with. It is clean but for someone like me with sensitivities it is difficult.
