The hotel is ageing, but the room was large, very quiet, and very comfortable. There was night work on the Tooleybuc Bridge, but I never heard a thing! I was in a disabled room, it was very well set-up for people needing grab bars etc. A shower stool was provided and there was plenty of room to navigate a wheelchair, had I had one. Dinner at the Country Club Hotel next door was amazing, And a proper cooked breakfast provided by the Motel in the morning, very nice!

Great place to stay, very roomy and comfortable. Great to have more bench space in the separate kitchen area, with a sink, microwave and all cooking, eating utensils needed for our stay. A balcony was an added extra. Happy with just about everything. The hotel next door was amazing. Could be in the middle of Sydney / Melbourne, the standard was excellent.

The TV was very small and next to a large mirror. I recommend removing the mirror and adding a much larger flat screen TV. There was a step down into the shower, which I felt was a little dangerous if you weren't aware of it. As an older person, always looking out for possible trip hazards or slipping. The room also was a little dark, only supply of light was from the glass door to the balcony and a smaller window in the kitchen area. These things would not stop us coming again, but when asked how could we improve, these are suggestions.

The owners/managers are very helpful and personable. The pool area is well kept and clean and the rooms are plain very clean and comfortable.

It would be great if there were one or two rooms available that allow pets for people traveling with animals through Tooleybuc. However they were able to recommend a great value kennel about 20 minutes away for our dog.

Given the remote location of Tooleybuc, the accommodation was surprisingly pleasant. The motel is located next door to an excellent Hotel providing high quality meals from its dining room. The motel room was large, with wall mounted Flat Screen TV, queen size bed, additional bedding, Dining Table and chairs plus a 2 seater couch. Additionally there was a kitchenette with a fridge and microwave. The bathroom was functional.

Given that I had just driven from Glenelg in South Australia and was tied when I arrived, it is hard to be critical given the circumstances. Nothing really stands out that I particularly disliked. It comes down to personal taste.

Clean, quiet

I was disappointed at reception with the order of things done. I had booked the room on-line for 2 nights but had yet to pay. After introducing myself I was asked to pay which I did. Then I was told that there would be no room service, if we needed towels we could ask the cleaner next day, (We could find no cleaner when we left for the day anyway) and they had a problem with mice and if we needed help to empty a trap just call them. We were OK with all of this but it should have been advised prior to payment in case we wanted to look elsewhere.

The lady on reception was so friendly and welcoming. Our room (No. 10) was very clean and spacious and a great place to stop for the night. The beds were comfortable and although it looked almost booked out it was quiet.

It's a personal choice but I found the pillow a bit hard and lumpy.

The staff who greeted me on arrival were super helpful and made check-in a breeze! I loved the comfy beds and clean room, and the hassle-free dinner available next door. The breakfast in the morning was amazing. Can't speak highly enough of this place. Absolutely everything you could ask for from a well-located, comfortable, clean motel room right on the NSW/VIC border.

Tooleybuc is a very small border village with the motel situated on the main street. Nevertheless, the location is quiet and close to the river with its old bridge. There is a nice river park across the road. There's also a sports club with eating facilities within walking distance while the neighbouring pub is being renovated. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with bar fridge and microwave, and the usual kettle and cutlery. The bathroom was clean with good water pressure and shower volume.

The motel had a dated feeling compared to other motels at the same price. Otherwise it was a basic highway motel with no issues.

Nice and clean, good place to stop overnight, the pub is just next door! The new owners are lovely, and friendly I wish them the very best with their new business adventure, much better than the last owners, we have been staying here for years!
