The Traveller’s Rest Motor Inn was a fantastic choice for our stay. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, offering everything we needed for a relaxing visit. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring our stay was smooth and enjoyable. Its convenient location is a standout feature, with a close walk to the river and easy access to the Commercial Hotel directly through the car park. The quiet atmosphere and comfortable beds made for a great night’s sleep. Highly recommend this motor inn for anyone seeking a reliable and pleasant place to stay.

Next door to the Commercial Hotel. Nice pub and happy hour middies 5-6pm $3. Restaurant was very busy for a Monday night. Did not order food as a large group ordered just before me. Plenty of other places to eat including Pizza Haven just around the corner. The room was upstairs and was spacious and you were able to spread your legs. Outdoor seating area and small table to relax with a quiet drink. Pool was open and is large enough to cool off. Would definitely stay here again if passing through the area

Was relocated upstairs at the last minute due to a complaint by a guest that arrived a few minutes before me. Not a huge issue as I had to climb about 12 stairs to the Ist floor.

Great location to our night venue that we were attending. Bed comfortable, heater worked well. Staff pleasant.

Needs a lot of TLC ie curtains repaired , rubbish bin replaced. Noisy guests dragging their luggage over driveway very early Sunday morning. 2nd room had broken and loose tiles in shower that almost cut my daughters foot. Staff found another room for her. 7am noisy lawn mower working across the road from motel mowing grass.

very conveniently located, as we didn't have to turn off the road. We were driving a truck, so couldn't use the carpark, however there was plenty of off road parking outside the motel, all we had to do was walk across the road. The Motel is also located just a short walk to the main street (supermarket - coffee shops etc.).

Arriving on a Friday night, there were live bands at two different venues. Each band was playing different music, and this clashed with each other. After a 10 hour drive, rest and sleep was needed, and this didn't happen until the music stopped around midnight.

The location was great. For the most part all was good. Some disturbance on the Saturday evening. Otherwise, it was a lovely stay.

Some of the tenants were extremely noisy up until close to midnight - sitting outside their rooms talking very loudly and drinking. Quite disturbing on the Saturday evening. Language was less than desirable also.

We always stay here convenient and well equipped for an overnight stay

The bathroom had some mould issues going on which I brought to the attention of management who informed me the bathrooms are getting a make over (quite outdated) however the mould is a housekeeping issue not an outdated one

Spacious well appointed room good value for money. Great central location close to restaurants and cafes.

Pool area was not maintained. Pool itself was very clean as was barbecue. Sun umbrella and lounge chair were broken. No shade on 39C days

Room was nice and large, bed comfy, shower nice. Location was nice, short walk to the river, even on a busy road wasn’t to concerning

The pub next door had a band playing, the good and bad about staying next to a good pub. Having a basin out of the bathroom to clean my teeth with my partner watching telly, he didn’t like that.

Rooms were clean and large. Everything was provided. Good location just off the main street. Enjoyed a good meal at The Commercial Hotel which was right next to the motel.

Rooms were great, staff great. Rooms lovely and clean and comfortable.

Very noisy with traffic, trucks all night long. Some sort of generator or motor going on and off all night long. Had to park next door in hotel and lug luggage along footpath from there. No parks left in motel.
