The room was wonderful and comfortable and clean. The staff was welcoming. There's a bar downstairs and a restaurant open late. We did not partake of either, but just having that convenience was nice. The location is great. It's next to walkable taco trucks, McDonald's, and a Starbucks, right on the corners. In the heart of town.

There's a $12 a day parking fee, which I didn't know about. Even with the $12 parking fee, it was less expensive than other hotels in the . And the only issue I had was this train that blew its horn when it passed, up to about midnight or 1 AM.

Upon arrival we were greated by the parking attendant and was told that we had to park across the street in the parking lot. He came back a few minutes later and the manager told us to park our 6 motorcycles next to the building so the bike's would be safe. The rooms were great, pool area very well taken care. Food in the restaurant was delicious with a variety of dishes on the menu. Can't forget the bar. Very friendly staff and every time they would see us, asked if we needed anything. Strongly recommend this hotel

Nothing is broken, so don't try and fix anything.

Everything.

Could hear elevator and the train horn. The shower needs tub fixtures fixed or replaced. Turn on shower and water still comes out of the tub facet, as well as shower head. Seems a bit of a waste of water. Would think there should be trash bags in trash cans in the room so they don't get sticky. Had the fish dinner and calamari appetizer both were enough for two or one hungry eater, both were amazing!! Booked a room that included breakfast buffet a great deal. It was a great buffet.

Only thing I would change is the bottle water in the room. I couldn't stop laughing and shaking my head over the sign on the water. If you aren't a diamond, silver or golden member you have to pay for the water? REALLY . Hilarious. I'm pretty sure you can afford two bottles of water per room free of charge. Had some issues with the garage parking ticket. It should be explained that the ticket shouldn't be near your cell phone. Also the employee at the desk should make sure the when the guest is ready to depart the parking garage the parking ticket is properly stamped with Doubletree on it. Ours was not 😞

This hotel is exceptional. The rooms were clean, well stocked, loved the large lotion, shampoo, shower gel and conditioner hanging on the walls in the bathroom in good sized bottles. The pillows could use updating as they were pretty flat but we made do. If you don’t use valet parking, you have to park across the stree in a multi level parking lot with an elevator and cross bridge to the hotel. Love the security of having to use your room key to use the elevator in the hotel. There is a train track that runs very close to the hotel and the trainl runs all day and night and blows the horn pretty loudly, so if you are a light sleeper this may be an issue. It didn’t bother us. I have to say that although the hotel is exceptional, their biggest asset is their staff. They go above and beyond to help customers! I was extremely impressed by all of them, including valets, front desk, housekeeping and restaurant!

Mostly the pillows.

The staff was friendly and welcoming. The hotel was clean, I believe it recently had a remodel. The valet attendants were friendly and helpful and very quick to bring the car. I appreciated the extra security of having to use your room key for the elevator. My room was clean, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. I had breakfast in the hotel restaurant. It was buffet style. The food was fresh, hot, and tasty. There was a good selection of options. I will definitely stay here again.

That the hotel lounge closed at 11 on Saturday night. We had been at an all-day event and just wanted to unwind at the hotel's lounge. The bartender did suggest a couple nearby bars.

The hotel is relatively new and located in downtown Modesto. From the hotel I walked to the Gallo Center for the Arts where I saw a concert by Rodrigo Y Gabriella, guitarists from Mexico City. I also saw them as I was getting out of the elevator and they were getting in. Parking was free, and the free breakfast was great. The bar was nice and the menu was interesting.

If you are wanting to visit Yosemite National Park, Merced would be a better place to stay.

We were celebrating our anniversary and needed a night away from everything. A staycation in Modesto. We only live a few blocks away.

Hubby and I went out for a midnight run for food and the front desk lady hollered throughout the lobby, "are the door dash?" First of all, why are you hollering? 2nd. There was an employee closer that could have asked me, and I'm sure in a nicer tone.

Room was spacious and clean. Staff was friendly and attentive. The cookies are always a plus!

I didn't like that guest parking is across the street in a parking garage. I believe valet parking is $17 and self-parking across the street was $12. Might as well use valet parking if you are getting back later at night. There is some homeless presence in the area, but I felt safe nonetheless.

Everything was lovely. I especially want to thank the person who checked us into the hotel. He was so kind, helpful, and went out of his way to make our stay a beautiful one. I don't remember his name, but he is from Fiji. He helped us go to our meeting on the 10th floor. He gave us a new key when we stayed an extra 1/2 day. He was so polite, helpful, sincere. He made our stay such a beautiful one. Please let him know. Thank you so much. Charlene Fried and my son, Jose Perez

All perfect!
