Big and comfortable tent. Many sitting areas around the property. Very good food. The staff is extra attentive. Good for families as they have some animals. They offer some small extras like the fire/marshmallow (but it accommodates not more than a dozen people), sleighs, and stargazing.
Needed a second chair for the tent. WiFi didn't arrive to the restaurant. They should mention there is an insurance fee for some activities or they should just include it in the price.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. We stayed 2 nights, which gives you the opportunity to do a guided walk during your full day and enjoy the peace and quiet between check out and check in times. We were in an Ameer tent with a private plunge pool. All good except that there is hardly any shade at the outside area next to the pool. It would be good to cover the seating area.
It is quite a big resort and we were a bit unlucky the first night with a very big group which affected the atmosphere during dinner and breakfast. Especially during breakfast, we had the impression that the staff was not in control . Also, if you have a half decent 4×4 car, it is an easy drive to the resort. Just follow the electrify poles A general observation: we saw quite a bit of trash even in the sand dunes. It would be good if guides who taking people out would bring an extra bag and take the plastic bottles and cans back to the resort for removal.

This was our first time at a desert camp and it was just fantastic! It was 40 degrees which made us sit inside during the hot hours of the day but the camp tents were a new experience for us so we thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were extremely friendly and paid attention to every detail, they would ask us every time if the food was ok, or if we needed anything and made us feel right at home. The star gazing and camp fire were amazing. The man who took us star gazing was so knowledgeable that we even learnt a thing or two about stars and galaxies. Maybe when the temperature was 5-10 degrees lesser, it would have been even more enjoyable with camel safari and other activities. We even hiked our way up the sand to see the sunset, it was beautiful!
Well ironically we didn't get hot water in our room, idk what the problem was but it was surprising for the staff too. But they were kind enough to give us a bucket of hot water for our baby and my husband and I anyway didn't need the hot water in the heat. Also the only bad thing about the tent was the bathroom. It is small, even the sink is tiny and there's only a shower (no hand shower or buckets) The tent and the bed per se are comfortable and spacious. But honestly nothing much to complain about, really!

The layout and design of the property are all well thought out. The desert camp is well laid out and the decorations put a more authentic feeling to the unique enviornemnt. It is truly a luxurious and relaxing enviornment. Apart from the design and location something that well stood out during our two night stay is the attentive and very caring staff. All staff makes sure that the guests are well taken care of. We would like to especially mention Dharmesh who made sure we are well served when dining in the arabian nights restaurant. Such a warm person and we enjoyed conversation with him and he speaks very good english as well!! Was a pleasure meeting you and such a dedicated employee! We also appreciated how one of the managers (did not catch his name but we spotted two during our stay - a male and female - this one was the male) approached us to ask about our stay: what we enjoyed and if we had any suggestions for them to improve. A question which was repeated by the person at check out in the reception desk. Such an attentive staff!! We also enjoyed the time with our driver for the shuttle service to and from the dessert and Biddyah - Said - he made sure to keep us entertained during our rides with him. Thank you for such a memorable experience Thousands Night team !!
Evreything was great truly not one complaint. The excursions (dune bashing, camel trekking and quadbike rides) are a bit on the pricier side compared to what we spent in other countries for the same activities but given the upscale level of the desert camp it is highly understandable and it is also coupled with sunset tea and snacks.

Great Place, even more beautiful as shown in the pictures, with a adventures journey to the camp (we drove by our own without the convoy and it wasn‘t much a of a Problem). We had a amazing sunrise Camel Tour wich is totally recommendable and were pretty happy that we decided to stay two nights instead of just one. Brekfast and Dinner were both pretty good with a decent selection of different meal options. Besides the things said above, the staff was remarkable. Very friendly and quite attentive but not intrusive. Especially Dharmesh was very helpful, interested and always up for a Little Chat! We were very happy, that we decided to book at Thousand Nights and can totally recommend the Camp.

We stayed for 2 nights in the house with a private pool which was amazing, the breakfast had a lot of options also the dinner was very good options from local to Indian to international i think everyone will find something.. We drove ourselves which was an adventure for sure, you need 4x4 car but the navigation the Accommodation sent us worked perfectly and guided us into the camp. The sunsets on the dunes are breathtaking, also sitting by the fire enjoying the night of the desert was something i will always remember.
The camp is bit older there are things like broken tiles in the pool to a broken tiles on the ground of the house that would deserve a refurbishment but since its a luxury accommodation, literally 40km inside a desert it doesn't matter :)

The staff were all excellent - couldn't do enough for you. Food was great too. Kids enjoyed the camp fire, and the movie in the kids area. Tent was comfortable. Comfy beds, and they put two extra beds for the kids. Escort service was helpful, but we drove back ourselves.
It's a large camp, therefore you somewhat loose the sense of authenticity of staying out in the dessert, but, having said this, it had the comforts that also make it enjoyable (air-conditioned, pool, good facilities). All activities were booked when we arrived, and were expensive. Not much else to do (as expected in dessert), so would book early if you want to do organised things. We managed to drive to watch the sunset on our own, and take the sand board.

Fantastic location, an hour from Bidiyah. It's a nice enjoyable drive. Beautiful large camp. We stayed in the tent with the private pool which was a great experience for the kids. The tent overlooking the dunes was nice to wake up to. The stargazing experience run by a professional astronomer was a wonderful experience and the children loved the marshmallow and hot chocolate around the fire experience too. Breakfast and dinner were good but the staff looked over worked and kept on forgetting the ordered drinks.
Not a suprise but the WiFi was non existent,, although they said there was connection in the restaurant it just wouldn't connect and the staff couldn't help. As mentioned its not a big suprise as you literally are in the middle of no where. I know it's the end of the season and the camp is probably already ready to close but the cleaning could be better. Lots of repairs were overdue. The door to the swimming pool was broken with nails hanging on the side, toilets weren't flushing properly, broken tiles in the swimming pool were visible. The lunch for what it was quite expensive. The most expensive in Oman during our stay and as there are no other places to eat you have no choice for an example our bill of one rice dish and milkshake came to £22.

Extremely friendly staff. The camel ride with my 4-year-old daughter was spectacular. The tent was very nice—naturally, it’s not in perfect or brand-new condition, given the desert environment. We would definitely recommend it and would love to return. However, we would appreciate more sustainability efforts, such as solar panels and better cleanup of the surrounding desert.
More sustainability efforts would be appreciated. Fewer lightbulbs with cold light—warmer lighting would create a more romantic atmosphere. The TV wasn’t working, but that’s not really necessary in the desert. Better clean up your dessert.

It was an unforgettable experience, from the long drive across the desert, to the sunrise camel ride. It was one of my best ever travel experiences. The camp is about 40km from Bidiyah. We joined a small convoy which left the gas station at 1300, and had checked into our Sheikh Tent an hour later. The drive was easier than I’d feared, but you need a 4wd, ours was a Kia Sportage. There’s a terrific little pool, which is well shaded and absolutely necessary in the afternoon heat. Sunrise and sunset are spectacular. We did the former via camel, and will never forget it. The latter I did by foot with other guests. It’s hard work but worth it. There were many other experiences on offer. The Iftar buffet was magnificent, the breakfast was lovely. Staff were knowledgeable and helpful.
