Beautiful property and setting. The rooms are amazing. Breakfast buffet was really delicious. Loved it all.

I wish the front desk staff had mentioned all the activities. I would have 100% done a camel ride and actually really hoped to do that but I didn’t see any camels on property so just assumed they didn’t do that. The front desk only talked about the spa. Also, I only got the whatsapp about the activities late in evening after arriving to the property because we were visiting wadis and had no service. So I feel like the time to send that info is when someone books. And def mention it at the front desk. Lastly, the bar menu had several beers listed but when we went to buy some, only 1 was cold and our preferred ones were sitting next to the fridge - hot.

A really nice resort in the desert. The food is amazing and the staff is super friendly. The pool is great for refreshing dip. We drove there ourselves, it is not hard to find or drive through the desert, the only thing is you have to know how much to deflate the tires. It is useful to have a portable air compressor.

The activities are a but pricy.

The staff were absolutely incredible. My wife and I are vegan and the staff made sure we had plenty of options for food and even made meals specially prepared for us and freshly made, even homemade freshly made oat milk. We felt very looked after. The place is lovely, spa massage was great and the room was perfect. The drive in a 4 wheel drive car isn't too bad so don't be scared to drive there on your own if you have a 4 wheel drive car, just make sure you get there before sunset.

They were very friendly during check-in. Separate from the resort, I had hired a private driver who attempted to extort me. Luckily I escaped the situation and a driver from the resort picked me up. Still, the driver continued to contact me asking for money and threatening to call the police. He even called the hotel several times. After explaining the situation the hotel staff were very understanding and helped to ward him off. Long story short, the staff will make you feel safe here! Anyway, they offer a range of fun cultural and physical activities to try. I did the Bedouin house tour, Sunset drive, Sand Boarding (highly recommend, good fun), and Camel ride. The food at the restaurant is good and portions are generous. The pool was nice and I wish I used it more.

I just wish there were more people at the resort when I was there. It was a little eerie being one of four reserved groups there. Also, the wifi could use an upgrade because the connection was spotty and slow. Otherwise no complaints.

We drove to the resort ourselves (after a lot of research) and it was a great experience, waved at a few camels en route. Room and bathroom were gorgeous, breakfast and dinner enjoyable, we spent the afternoon around the pool and treated ourselves to a few cocktails, which although expensive were average cost in Oman. We walked up the dunes in the morning for sunrise which was lovely. Staff friendly and professional. There were spa treatments available, it would have been good to have a price list in the room. It's hard to believe this little oasis is in the middle of the desert and we enjoyed our 1 night there.

It's a shame the resort doesn't run on solar power as you can hear the generator in some parts of the resort, I was hoping to experience the complete silence of the desert - however we were able to do this at the top of the dunes.

Amazing place, everything from the staff to the location was just AMAZING, I loved the fact that its one of the last resorts in the desert so you really feel like there is nothing around you, everything worked, great wifi, great food, great pool and the staff was again AMAZING, never met kinder/nicer ppl

Everything just great, from the appartment to breakfast, pool, the complex, extremly nice personel etc. The desert drive is wonderful. It is absolutely no problem to drive there yourself. Just go to the tire shop close to shell gas station and ask them to lower the tire pressure. The drive is quite easy, dont worry. With me maps.me you can navigate, the road is depicted.

Nothing to complain.

The resort is clean and the rooms are very nice. The layout of the villas is made in a good way that makes it easy to go around. Getting there was easy. From the starting point, there are a few signs on the way, plus the track is well defined. Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. They did everything to make sure we were comfortable during our stay.

Not much activities available, at the time of stay they didn't have buggies available for rent. We had to get them from another resort.

The best hotel complex in the dunes, great pool and bar, accommodation far exceeded our expectations. We went off-season so hotel was quiet so had the place virtually to ourselves for 2 nights. We recommend going half board as no other food option and there was plenty of good food provided. Spa was an extra bonus with great service.

Very little not to like here and will use again on our next visit

A cut above the rest. Real rooms rather than tents. Very comfy beds. All around pool with a bar that sells alcoholic drinks. Very kind staff. A quick walk from the dunes and silence. Good overall dinner buffet and a reasonable breakfast. If you want the traditional Omani desert experience, this is not for you. But if you want all the comfort of a city hotel in the middle of the desert - with a swimming pool - then this is your only choice.

Breakfast could do with a live egg station but was perfectly acceptable. No fresh bread was a pity. It is possible to freeze bread and take it out in the morning. This would have made a welcome addition. Same goes for the croissants.
