A great place as a base to explore the Islands. - The staff met every request I made and were always very helpful. - The lounge / dining space is a wonderful place to sit and watch the activity on the straight between Streymoy and Nolsoy, with drinks available. I bought some snacks / a light dinner from a supermarket and the staff helped with providing plates and so on so I could sit in this lovely space and enjoy the long evening.

Everything was great. The staff very helpful. It was like staying at a friend's house on the water. The room faced the ocean and I listened to the waves at night. The bed was very comfortable and heating was great with underfloor heating in the bathroom . The hotel is famous as it was the Commodores residence for the Danish Navy. It has a friendly ambience and the rooms are beautifully decorated. The breakfast is great and well worth it and the honesty bar for after hours is very convenient. All tour providers and taxis know the hotel for pick up. Well done and definitely recommend to all hope I can come back again.

Nothing really. Just be aware that without a car the main town is a short 5 to 10 minute walk depending on the,weather but you can get some home delivery to the hotel . You can hear neighbours closing their doors but that was rare, overall amazing stay.

This hotel is a gem--a completely redone historical building that is both elegant and comfortable. Breakfast was in a glorious room with expansive water views. It's about a 10-minute walk downhill to restaurants and bars in Torshavn. The hotel has ample parking and is very convenient. In the lot next door sheep graze and admire the view. This place beats any soulless modern Nordic hotel.

Breakfast very good. Location perfect..Close to centre but perfectly positioned for view and feeling as if in country! Flight to Iceland cancelled so fortunately we were able to stay a further night. We have a favourite hotel in Dorset England called the seaside boarding house...This is a small edition of that hotel.

Nice hotel in a good location on the coast, so nice views from the yard. The room itself was comfortable, and the hotel is a relatively short walk from downtown Tórshavn and the restaurants. Nice breakfast.

Rooms are cleaned on request. I mean really. Yes, I can request it, but one of the few pleasures of hotel stay is coming back to a nicely cleaned room and made bed without having to do the work yourself - or having to ask for it.

The breakfast is great！They offer a large choice and everything is quite fresh. I would especially recommend the ginger shot、salmon、rhubarb porridge and the poppy seed bread. Service is warm and efficient. The location is even better. A cozy room with a fantastic view（the sea，the green grass and the sheep、the geese~），I couldn't expect more！Besides，it's almost downtown and easy to get to the major spots, including the bus terminal and the harbor.

My room is next to the major road，therefore there is quite a lot of traffic noise, most of the time, I have to close the window so it would be quieter.

My flight was not exchangeable so I was not able to stay for one more night

The location overlooking the water was beautiful. Large room with all our needs covered. Walking distance to the town centre. Excellent breakfast. The staff were so friendly and helpful in assisting us with information and organising transport. We truely appreciated all the kindness and highly recommend Havgrim.

The breakfast was lovely, plenty of choice and good coffee. The location was great, 5 minute walk into town. The staff were friendly. Easy access, even when we arrived after front door and reception was closed.

This is a beautiful small hotel within easy walking distance of Torshavn town and harbour. We couldn’t have had better service, including accommodating us at very short notice when we realised we had to leave our ferry from Iceland at 3am on our motorbike. The rooms were not massive but well presented and comfortable. The garden area had comfy seating and the hot tub was lovely. Breakfast was very good and service even better. We can only say thankyou off a fab stay.
