Air condition, fan that dosent have sound, spaceous room. Beach, market and good restaurants are very close.

Owner doesnt know that headphones exist so after 11am we had to listen his music.

A pleasant place to stay. The room is large and cool. Air conditioning works perfectly, and there's also a fan. The breakfast is great with several options. Fresh water is available all day. The room doesn't have a refrigerator. The hotel doesn't serve lunch or dinner, but there are several restaurants nearby. The beach is a two-minute walk from the property and is beautiful. You can snorkel on the reef right there. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Great location a very short walk to the beach, big rooms with comfy beds and very clean. The manager was great, booked us an amazing snorkelling trip (definitely advised) and was around to chat every day. Would recommend eating at the restaurant and the curry is great. Will hopefully be coming back!

Located just behind the beach so very quick and easy to get to. The staff we great, we left behind an iPad upon checking out and they were able to arrange returning it back to us in Singapore.

Very tidy, large, and spacious, clean room. It has a kettle, water, coffee, tea. Faiž is extremely kind, from the moment of check-in, throughout each and every day, always professional, courteous, cheerful, and ready to help for anything needed. Hotel is very good located, close to the ferry port and, less then 50 meters from the beach. All recommendations for Papaya resort, we would definitely come again.

Delighted with our stay here. First and foremost, thanks to the guy at reception. He was so friendly, kind and gave us so much good information. Even gave us a welcome drink too! An absolute gentleman. The rooms are good and the bathroom was clean. The bed was very comfortable and the AC was excellent. Water is provided in the room. Perfect location on the beach and you’ll have to walk only a minute or less to get to the water. Please do stay here if visiting Tioman!

Special thanks to the staff for their kindness and helpful suggestions and also for arranging our snorkeling and jungle tours! The resort is very well located and very clean. Beware of sandflies on the beach apply plenty of repellant.

The location is near the beach, lots of food places nearby. The rooms are decent and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the island . They provided useful information and tips to help enjoy our trip further.

The rooms glass windows where loose and broken which could let someone from outside open the lock of the doors . It’s a small issue after information the staff they fixed it .

You can walk through entire Kampong Tekek start from Air Batang Beach to South Beach. You can have a very close look on the flying fox hanging on the trees.

The coral reef is dying. No sea turtles and dolphins near the sea bays anymore. A very sad thing for the villagers due to tourism activities.
