The staff are super friendly, welcoming and helpful - the manager gave us so much information when we arrived and let us shower after our desert tour which was very much appreciated! The room was comfy, spacious and clean and there was always hot water and the shower was great. The rooftop is nice and has a nice view of the town, sometimes a bit hot up there in the daytime though! It was quiet at night and we slept well. The location is great - it’s so close to the fort, lake and places to eat and it was great value for money! We also booked the camel safari through the hostel - it was very fun🐪! Definitely a cool experience and we enjoyed it, it was quite a big group and it goes to a busier part of the desert though. Would really recommend staying here while in Jaisalmer!🥰

Fantastic hotel! Rooms were spotlessly clean and exactly as pictured, with lovely window benches and comfortable beds. The view of the fort from the roof is beautiful, and the location is great—walking distance from the fort and haveli museums but away from the chaos and hassling of the area in and around the fort. The complimentary ride from the train station was a nice bonus so we didn’t have to deal with auto drivers late at night (we were met right outside the station by a friendly employee who had a sign with our names on it) and the complimentary breakfast was delicious and included a range of Indian and continental options. All the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and made us feel very welcome and well-cared for. They also arranged a great afternoon trip out to the Sam Sand Dunes for a reasonable price and ensured that everything went smoothly (also note that they never pressured us in any way to take a trip to the desert. We asked for help arranging it). Highly recommended!!🙏🇮🇳

beautiful view from the cozy roof terrace to the Ford, which can be reached in 5-10 minutes on foot. The rooms are clean and tastefully decorated. The bathrooms are all new. On the roof terrace you could order coffee, tea, drinks and small dishes, everything was very tasty. Opposite there is an attached Roof Top restaurant with excellent cuisine. The staff is very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. on our request they organized an exclusive 2 days camel tour just for us both in a remote desert section. Ask for camel guide salim. He is super nice and cooks great. Back at the guesthouse I was surprised by all the staff of the house late in the evening with cakes and singing for my birthday. It was really a very touching stay. Thanks once again to the whole staff! We will definitely be back soon

The hotel was very clean, the service was good, and the people were kind. I would like to come again. Some people can speak Korean, and credit card payments are also possible. This time we came by sleeper train, so we arrived early on the first day and left late at night on the last day. He said. The view from the rooftop is the best, and there is a power supply and wifi, so I think I can do some work. For camel safari, I chose plan A with an overnight stay in the desert, and I was very satisfied. Chai and curry to drink in the desert are exquisite. You can get a comforter, but it's a little cold at night, so it might be good to have a cold-weather.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The location was good. The old town of Jaisalmer was easily accessible on foot. The personal aspect was exceptionally good. In no other hotel we encountered such nice, friendly and caring people as in the Hotel Fotiya. We were picked up and taken to the train station free of charge. The price-performance ratio was also exceptionally good. The reason for this is a camel tour safari organized by the hotel. It may be a little more expensive than a tour from an independent company, but we were picked up and dropped straight back to the hotel. You don't have to book the tour, but we don't regret doing it. The desert tour was fantastic, with great, clean sand dunes and a beautiful sunset. The tour guide cooked a very delicious meal in the desert. Jaisalmer is also an incredible city with its fort and havelis. We stayed just one day, but it was enough, so we got the full experience of Jaisalmer. All in all, it was a fantastic stay, thanks to the incredible hosts at Hotel Fotiya!

I stayed at this palace and really base on my experience and based on hotel reviews it is ultimate hotel staff and service being not star hotel they work and provide service like 5 star service the hotel owners and the staff are very helpful, they have accommodate me with all the my requests while my stay they make sure that we will get everything comfortable stay. Staff is really helpful, always happy to help you and give you the best tips for your travel. The place is amazing, rooftop so beautiful with lot of beautiful paintings. The food is also really good with plenty different choices in the menu. It was really difficult to leave this hotel, I would have stayed more time if it was possible for me. They also organize camel safaris with different options, that's great and easy to find the best safari for you. I recommend this place 100 %

If there has been a higher level than 5 star, I would have given them it. It is really amazing to stay here. 5* for service: Free pickup, extremely helpful, friendly and attentive staff. Narsi and the hotel owner answered all my questions about city, culture, custom and travel tips, helped us a lots always with a smile on their face, even when I asked about the Queen Harish show which has been no longer provided or asked for the hot water at late night. 5* for food: massive menus in both Indian and Korean styles. Food is fresh, high quality, rich taste, provided with free side dishes (kimchee, cucumber, fries). Bibimbap are highly recommended. 5* for tours: it is optional for you to join their tours but I recommended. It took me 30 minutes to consider their offers, then I found out it totally worth. I went on a dessert tour to see Camel festival in combination with camel riding, sunset seeing, overnight Safari and sunrise in Sam dunes. It is perfect experience. Food was provided generously, camping tent for just 2-3 people, sleeping bags and blankets kept me warm and have a good sleep for the whole night, even they had a dog to cheer tourists up and prevent any other animals on dessert at night. I was told that the tour guide was born in dessert so he seems to know everything If I come back to Jaisamer, Fotiya is absolutely my choice.

Our stay at Hotel Fotiya was excellent! The rooms were great and the bed really comfortable. But what stood out the most was the people. So kind and helpful staff! Thats why we decided to do our desert safari with them. They offer different camel safaris. From standard to deep desert safari. We decided to do the deep desert safari and had a wonderful time. Worth the premium. It felt very authentic with NO other tourists around. We slept under stars and visited the remote village of our camel guide. For dinner they prepared delicious food, freshly prepared on the open fire. I recommend everyone to come here when visiting Jaisalmer and Thar Desert.
