The place was fabulous. What a great place to relax and recuperate. we will definitely be back. The staff are wonderful and friendly. The villa rooms are cosy and clean and very romantic. Hidden paradise is the right name for this place. Big thank you.

Please buy some pillow top mattresses. The existing mattress was so tough I didn't sleep well. Another suggestion would be to see some live music at dinnertime or after.

The setting of the hotel, and the way the rooms are scattered along the property. The lush green lawns, as well as the general surroundings. Helpful staff. The overall quality and cleanliness is acceptable keeping in view the remote location of the property.

We could not get a response from the operator over the intercom when we needed something from housekeeping, even though it was not even that late at night, but a Whatsapp request to the number given on tbe website did the trick. The retaurant on site has a reasonable menu and the food is ok. The location is not ideal; its far from the city center and also not very near to Mt Ijen.

- Not comfortable sleeping - a lot of noise from other guests and hotel staff, the walls are made of paper… If you stay, for sure not in the main buildings. - Difficult, but really difficult communication with reservation dpt/ reception. They are friendly, but… - The price does not correspond with value

The staff went out of their way to accommodate our needs, they were phenomenal. The pool and surrounding views were breathtaking and we were very happy with our room and it's views. Would absolutely recommend, it is perfect for visiting Mine Ijen and the blue flame, and you will be hard pushed to find a more stunning location for a hotel.

A cash machine at the hotel would be helpful. We could not find a cash machine any where in Java, not even in Surabaya. Very frustrating and meant that local businesses that didn't take card missed out on sales. Especially when we climbed mount Ijen and couldn't buy anything from the hardcore miners who work in the worst conditions and are down in the crater selling their sulfur carvings.

The property gives you a Bali vibe and you are instantly taken in up the amount of openness in the property. Lush green field, mountain in the distance, a stream running by are just some of the things that just cozy you up during your stay here. Rooms are neatly done and spaced out. Restaurant serves a good selection and delicious food. Balinese massage was good. Start point of the ijen trek is less than an hour away. Has a open bathroom which may not be to everyone' liking especially due to the tropical setup and presence of insects and frog but I enjoyed it.

Amazing hotel. The staff are great and go out of their way to help. The pool area was lovely and it has amazing views. The rooms were gorgeous. They were clean, spacious and full of good facilities. The breakfast choices are limited but nice. The restaurant serves nice food too in the evening. Such a nice place to relax.

It's a bit out of the way, so other places to eat are very limited. The hotel has limited options too and can be a bit pricey (although nice).

This hotel is located in one of the most beautiful places in Indonesia.We had a fabulous upgraded room which overlooked pristine rice fields and three volcanoes. Breakfast was excellent and each morning there was more food than we could possibly eat. Our room was large and the bed was very comfortable.The hotel grounds blend seamlessly with the surrounding countryside.

Finding the hotel is a little difficult as Google maps sends you on the wrong road.Luckily the locals were able to set us straight.

Lovely hotel - beautiful views over rice terraces and excellent pool. Friendly service and excellent juice to have poolside! Rooms comfortable, outside bathroom fun and spacious. Restaurant well priced, nice food - slightly eclectic menu! Hotel about an hour from Ijen climb start point. We left at 2am (!) and they very kindly staffed desk to allow us to check-out and gave us a packed breakfast.

A minor point - but the resort was slightly less environmentally conscious than some of other hotels. Plastic water bottles and plastic straws could have been replaced with glass bottles and bamboo straws for example. This did not negatively impact our stay at all - we still give it a 10!

The view and atmosphere of this place is crazy nice. Staff is very accomodating. Even though there are limited vegetarian options on the menu, they are very accomodating to adjust some menus.

Rooms are a bit outdated and the cleaning smell they use is not everyone‘s taste. There is a mosque in the nearby village and we underestimated how loud it was going to be as they have loudspeakers that are on high volume almost all day long.

Very beautiful resort with epic view of the rice fields and mountains. We got upgraded to Junior Suite and it was so spacious with a lovely terrace. Our room got a smart TV with streaming apps, and the bed was so comfy. Breakfast was included and came with a bread basket, cut fruits and juices, and a la carte meals you can choose from. I particularly loved the fried rice with fried chicken (unusually delicious for hotel style!).

Not a negative point exactly but the location is quite far from anywhere (about an hour drive from ferry port and town centre). It should be a secluded, serene stay in the middle of nowhere but unfortunately when we came there was a wedding in a village nearby and music was blasting for 2 nights. Just a bad luck.
