We opted for staying in Calama for 2 days before heading to San Pedro just for getting used to the dry air and the heights. Geotel is such a great hotel that we regretted not staying longer. It´s an excellent location, close to city center; the apartment is spacious, extremely comfortable, with a practical bathroom and a small kitchen enough for preparing some quick food. The building is totally safe and easy to access. The star is the restaurant: our breakfasts there were excellent, with great coffee, food and tons of options. We had our welcome drinks in the first evening and decide to have dinner in the restaurant. We didn´t regret it because, despite a bit pricy, the buffet presented great quality and tasty food. The hosts were always smiling and attentious, so we really enjoyed our stay.

Everything was fine!

We stayed one night here as a stopover on our way to Bolivia. It was very comfortable with a huge room and bathroom. The wifi was great and there was a hairdryer. Free cocktail welcome drink. There is a restaurant there but we did not eat. We missed the breakfast time as we had to check out early for a bus, so the staff members organised a take-away bag for us of food which was simple but appreciated. There weren’t any other tourists there that we could tell, most people there are FIFO trade workers.

A little bit expensive just for one night. Nothing to do in Calama (it’s a workers town) and the town felt unsafe.

Easy to find property, just a short drive from the airport. Very secure - gated parking area. Check-in was fast and easy, plenty of parking available. Room was a decent size, very clean. Everything worked well, water in the shower was hot, pressure was good, toiletries provided. A buffet dinner is offered in the evening (did not have that), also an ala carte menu of sandwiches and other items offered through the day. Breakfast buffet (included) was very good with lots of options, fresh fruits, eggs, potatoes, sliced meats and cheeses, fresh yogurts, etc.

Rooms are a bit dated, could use a freshening up. Towels were also a tad worn.

We spent one night here after coming back from a trip through Atacama. The hotel is just a few minutes away from the bus station and can be easily reached with uber. The room was large, comfortable and clean. We especially liked the comfortable bed, the bathtub and the delicious buffet in the evening and morning.

We had a room close to the staircase and sometimes it was a bit loud when people went back and forth to their rooms and talked. But overall we slept really well

This apartment hotel seems to cater mainly for persons who work in the mining industry. Be prepared for people getting up very early. When we came to breakfast at 7.00, the food was gone and it took a while for the staff to fill up again. That said, the room with kitchenette was really comfortable and had everything we needed. It would have been even better with an aircon. It had a safe parking and a really good price for the night we stayed. And you got a welcome drink.

The women who checked us in were really nice and very helpful. We had an early morning flight the next day and they even arranged for a taxi to be there to take us to the airport. The apartment complex was well maintained and very secure (gated; security guards). The apartment was well built and not one of those places that looks super new and nice in the pictures, but is low quality when you see it in person. There were lots of workers from the copper mine staying there and it seems like the hotel caters to them and that's probably a big reason that everything is so well done. They had a cafeteria with a dinner buffet and the food was great.

Very pleasantly surprised as was somewhere just to sleep for an early flight. Receive a voucher for a welcome drink on arrival, room has a fridge, staff booked taxi for next morning and as we was leaving before breakfast started had done us a packed lunch to go Rooms are very clean have everything you neee and staff super friendly

Shower wasn’t so warm my only fault but may have just been temporary or a issue with my room

Arrived late at night from a late flight. Reception was open and professional welcome. The room was a great size and windows could open to allow cool air. Bed comfortable and big. Shower and toilet good. Breakfast was really Good with lots of options and a great coffee machine. One night only before heading down to San Pedro de Atacama. We really felt this hotel was perfect for that.

Nothing. It was just soot on.

Room - 2 bedrooms with bathrooms and a sitting room with a cooking facilities. Breakfast - simple but sufficient Restaurant - very decent menu of the day for lunch The place looks like an accomodation preferred by the service providers for the mine, less a touristic hotell. For a familly with kids staying overnight before morning flight to Santiago it was a good choice (munus the pool).

No swimming pool

Staff was pleasant and the room was of good size and excellent lighting. Shower was hot and easy to control. Breakfast was adequate, comparable to other we have had in Chile.

If there was AC available, we couldn't find the control so we opened the windows. We arrived very late at night and our room was on the 3rd floor, no elevator, so give that consideration if you have lots of luggage.
