Between breakfast and dinner, there is no organized option for a snack or light lunch. All restaurants around the hiking trails are closed. Perhaps it is better to enjoy it only in nature, however, there are children and younger and older generations who would like a light snack with a drink to complete the enjoyment of the beautiful nature.

The views are breathtaking! Breakfast was generous and delicious. Dinner had two main cooked dishes (one fish, one meat) with multiple side dishes - the food was tasty and I didn't miss more choices (I prefer to have fewer choices, but those delicious). The spa was clean, the saunas were spacious. The staff were extremely accomodating! I would definitely recommend staying in Hotel Montis!

I visited hotel Montis off season (at the end of October) and stayed from Saturday till Tuesday. Just a heads up, on Monday and Tuesday it was not possible to get anything to eat in between breakfast and dinner - boy, I was hungry after 4h hike. The hotel restaurant was not operational during weekdays (open during skiing season) and the two mountain huts that are in the vicinity were not open either (not hotel's fault of course). The cafe in the hotel lobby was also closed on Monday afternoon, however a very helpful hotel receptionist made me a tea anyways, after kindly asking for it - thank you!

The hotel was clean and the location excellent. Also the services offered by the ski school located at the hotel were great.

The hotel does not have one single space for kids and teenagers with table tennis, or billiard or anything to hang out, so the children just run around the hotel until late night which is extremely annoying for everybody. Even it states the bar is open 24/7 we could never get a drink there in late afternoon since there was no one to serve you. The hotel also does not provide any toiletries.

We arrived very late to the hotel, it was very windy and foggy - quite challenging to drive. Check in process was very simple and easy, the staff was very friendly and we were in our room in less than 5 minutes. The room was beautiful, very clean. Breakfast was very nice, with a nice selection of food.

Explanations of how to reach the hotel were a little bit confusing. Also messages and instruction received from the hotel were confusing. But at the end we made it, not a big issue.

sauna wellness was not ok. people was dressed in swimming suits and they didn't used towels suitable. they were very loud. so more warning how the behaviour in savannas-wellness will be appreciated

We were amazed by the service. All very kind. The first night we arrived at the end of the dinner. The chief and staff suggested preparing something fresh for us, no matter that there was still food left. Loved the approach!

The hotel location is perfect and the area is beautiful. Our room was clean and furnished with taste. Balcony view was amazing! Breakfast and dinner were very tasty and there is a wide variety of choices. We would return definitely!

Everything was fine. The only thing needs to be improved is the staff's mentality. They are very nice, willing to help, but they are like beginners.

The staff was nice and room was comfortable and clean. Good bed and pillows. Great that the wellness provides towels.

During our five day stay the hot tub was not working, which was a bummer. The buffet does not get refreshed often, so sometimes we only had left overs to eat.

The breakfast was nice with fruit juice and different kind of Slovenian breakfast choices (e.g. pickles with ayvar, which i liked with eggs), pancakes. Dinner was also acceptable. The restaurant overlooks the ski slopes, which is nice. The spa was nice and spaceious with some tea and fruits, you can go outside to the terrace from the sauna, which is good, there is a small pool outside, but that's closed in winter. There are several types of saunas and a jakuzzi, with resting area. there is a small gym as well, which is a bit too hot. The hotel's resturant is the best in the area, the alpine huts in the skiing area offer quite minimal choices of food (basically sausage with some cabbage, or beans or the like), some not too good glue wine and some other beverages. i think they are not too profit oriented, since we wanted to have some nice lunches, but we couldn't. It is a really small place with a few slopes, which are well-maintained, it is perfect for a few days, if the red slopes are acceptable for you 8the only black was closed). It was as if the whole place was ours hence there were so few poeple around, which was really fun having the whole place for ourselves. The road leading to the hotel is also nice. The view from the top of the mountain is also quite nice. The stuff is friendly, we had some nice experiences with the Slovenian people.

Our room overlooked the parking area at the back of the hotel, although we booked 3 rooms altogether. We couldn't park behind the hotel, we had to park outside. Theroad is quite narrow, therefore after paking out we had to drive back a little to park the car.
