Very comfy hotel, in a small town. Staff was very nice and willing to help (nearby restaurants, where to buy local products ...). Room was very large, very large and comfy bed. Breakfast was also very enjoyable with classics but also some local products. There's a slot to park securely our valuable bikes Also there a charging point for electric cars. Location is in fact strategic between Logarska Dolina and Velika Planina. Also there's a lake very good for swimming in velenje, or a beach on the river right near the main bridge of Luce

You have to grow a tolerance for the church bells literally 50m away from the room windows (it was perfectly fine for us)

We enjoyed our visit to Hotel Planinka, most likely the best accommodation in Ljubno ob Savinje. The rooms are spacious, well equipped, clean. The owners (or staff) are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is truly 5* - eggs made to your liking, decent selection of meat, cheeses, bakery, sweets, local products (the famous Savinjski želodec, yoghurts), pancakes, fruit... Parking in front of the house is free, there's space for safely storing your bikes, and the bells of the church next door are fortunately quiet at night. There are several restaurants or pubs within walking distance.

Very spacious room, modern bathroom and very clean. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was delicious and I really liked the view you had from the restaurant. We went here to attend a wedding and I really like the environment, the nature is very pretty and you have some quite villages nearby. The village the hotel is in was bigger than I expected. I would return to this hotel if I would travel here again.

For check in we had to call, maybe because we were a bit early (we arrived around 1 pm and che ck in is at 3 pm) my husband could not reach the number but my phone could and quickly someone came to do our check in. So that was nice.

Incredible hotel ! The room is very big, with a huge bathroom, a great view from the balcony, very quiet location and a few minutes drive from Logarska Dolina. The architecture of the whole hotel is incredible, the breakfast is incredible with lots of options and dining area is very nice - similat to an old vintage castle. The bed is so comfortable you feel like sleeping on a feather. The host is very nice - she arranged for me a late check in which was done remote and recommended a very good restaurant in town (one of the few who was still open). Had a very good stay here, one of the best in Europe and in 6 continents ! Highly recommend it !!

We have visited Alpes during many years but this was our first time in Slovenia. From now on, Slovenia will be our first option in the future. The hotel has a family atmosphere and the staff is lovely. They speak English and Helena also in Spanish. This is a quiet place where you can enjoy hiking, adventure sports, etc. There is a supermarket besides de hotel if you need a picnic

An intimate hotel located in a quiet, charming Alpine village. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and maintained to a very high standard. There is a wide variety of breakfast options available. The staff are exceptionally professional and helpful. Convenient parking is available right next to the entrance.

The owners and staff were great and very helpful . Breakfasts were really good and plentiful. The hotel rooms and common spaces were sparkling clean. The food in the restaurant in the evening was artful and delicious.

our room ( #3) faced the Main Street and was noisy with traffic, loud talking from bar patrons and people in the parking lot across the street. it was also too warm for me with only a window to try to control temperature… so it was either be hot or listen to noise.

The hotel was great! It was immpecably clean, the beds were greaf, breakfast was plentiful and with great ingredients (they make eggs according to you liking - I had a great omelette!) and the stuff were very kind and professional! However, the highlight of our stay was the gentleman working at the reception and the dining hall! He was extremely kind, attentive, friendly and helpful with great advices about how to visit and what to do at Logar Valley! Thank you very much, we'll be back!

Very good location to explore nearby valleys and Planinas, great food, and a very friendly staff. Breakfasts were really tasty, and the dégustation dinner will not be easy to forget 😀.

The only small weaker point was the additional bed for our second son, as it was a foldable one with a rather thin mattress.

Excellent maintained pension! The owners are involved in the day to day managing of the place and this is appreciated! Excellent breakfast, dinner too! Was impressed about the wine cellar which “helped” us in the evenings :)! The host are very welcoming and they definitely make you to feel you are in holidays!
