First off, the location is incredible, and the view from my room was simply insane. You can take the bus from Kranj to the Jezersko Kazina stop and it takes literally 2 minutes to be at the front door (paved sidewalk all the way so rolling luggage is easy). Check-in was simple and Alen was welcoming and gave me some tips for around the area. Downstairs is a seating area/living room and then a dining area, though both are used for breakfast. My double room on the first floor (second for Americans) was super spacious and had a lot of character with the wood furniture and flooring. The place had such a vibe. It felt super cozy on a rainy day so I imagine it feels insanely cozy in the winter. The bed was really comfortable, as were the pillows. There’s also a sink and mirror in the bedroom so you don’t need to use the shared bathroom to brush your teeth and stuff. The balcony—and view from it—was amazing. There were two toilets and two showers on my floor for the few shared rooms and they were sufficient—I never had to wait for either (and another toilet on the ground floor). The water pressure in the shower was great. They were all really clean, too. Breakfast was good, and the vegetarian options included: fresh fruit (bananas, apples, nectarines), coffee cake or croissants, toast with jam and honey, two types of granola and two cereals with yogurt, and vegetables. There was also juice, instant coffee, and tea included. The tourist information office is directly next to the building, and a grocery store in located behind that. Plenty of stuff to see and trails to hike in the town behind you and across the street, and then about 20-25 minutes along a pretty trail to reach the lake and more trails and sights. Highly recommend

We can’t say enough good things about Vila Koman, the Koman family, or Zgornje Jezersko. We stated each day with a great breakfast and talking through the plans of the day with the host, Alan. He was very helpful with route planning for summiting mountains and knew where to get the best views. He also told us about museums and towns that he thought were a good fit for our group. Every evening, we enjoyed the mountain views with drinks in the café on the first floor. There was even a Finnish sauna and relaxation room downstairs. When we are back in Slovenia, we will be skipping Ljubljana altogether, and heading strait to Vila Koman.

Vila Koman is a charming small hotel nestled in the mountains. The location is absolutely breathtaking, surrounded by stunning natural beauty. The rooms are cozy and thoughtfully decorated, with a rustic charm that fits perfectly with the mountain setting. The views from the room were spectacular, offering a peaceful and serene atmosphere. Everything was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The Owners went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. They were warm, welcoming, and always helpful. The homemade breakfast was a real treat, with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Overall, I highly recommend Vila Koman to anyone visiting the area. It offers great value for money, excellent service, and a comfortable stay. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit.

Alen was so friendly and welcoming. He made us feel at home. He gave us great recommendations for hiking routes. The view from our balcony was stunning and we spent many a happy hour out there playing monopoly deal and drinking radlers. The breakfast was lovely including the delicious coffee. The town of jezersko was one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. So peaceful and quiet. Would 100% recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at Vila Koman. You need to keep in mind that the accommodation is build in an old house, so it has a lot of character, like squeaky stairs, smaller rooms, but everything very nicely renovated and charming. Although it was hot outside and our room was under the roof, it didn't get too hot in there. The staff was very nice and friendly.

Everything was great, just two minor things to improve: - There was unpleasant smell from the drain in our bathroom. - There is only one key from each room, so you need to leave it hanging in the hallway when you are leaving the hotel, which didn't feel very comfortable knowing all our personal belongings were in the room.

I chose this accommodation because of its location and because it is an old, charming house. The beautiful, creaking wooden central staircase gives the house a very special atmosphere. The wooden floors are the same. It's reminiscent of my grandmother's old house during the summer holidays when I was a child. The creaking is bearable though — we didn't hear it at night. It's really nice. All old houses have their perks and quirks.

Very nice area/good position, old restored house with special character and atmosfere, friedly and helpful host, nice breakfast. I liked jezersko (1st time visit) as it is still not overcrowded with turists and you can see local life as well. Eat dinner in nearby pizzeria/restaurant with magnificient view on mountains, walk along the walley, swim in cold mountain lake or even see boys and men across ages playing their football match in the evening. Highly recommended for 3-5 days relaxing stay in nature. Happy to come back anytime.

Wow! We found a gem hidden in the middle of the mountains! The owner was lovely, a source of local information and very kind and helpful. We enjoyed talking to him. The family room was very big and had great views of the surrounding mountains. The bathroom was brand new and very functional. The bedroom was beautifully decorated and the beds( huge and brand new!!) extremely comfortable. Beautiful hikes are possible all around! Breakfast was very good with fresh local products. We had an amazing time and we definitely recommend staying there!

Perfect location in Jezersko area - ideal starting point for mountain trails. The owner, Alen, is making his best to make guest's stay as comfortable as it can be. Good breakfast. No issue with shared showers and restrooms. House was built in 1935 and has it's genius loci. Close to grocery and Tourist information centre. A very nice stay... We would love to come back.

No troubles. Parking spaces are limited, but there are more parking options.

We stayed in Vila Koman for two nights and had great time. We felt very welcomed with the two year old child. They have corner with toys for the kids to play around in the common area which is really great. Suite was beautiful and clean, breakfast included everything we needed and Sauna room is new and beautiful. Great place for vacation with smaller or bigger kids, a lot of walking trails around. We hope to come back again.
