Beafutiful location in the heart of Logarska Dolina with the best views, especially from the restaurant's terrace. Nice restaurant on-site with good breakfast (12 EUR) and plenty ala carte options incl. barbecue, although sometimes one needs to wait for a table and there is no priority for guests staying in the lodge.

Quite a busy place as tourists and people from other accommodation come to the restaurant and thus it felt understaffed in mid-August. Some noise from the street especially during the day and because one has to keep the windows open due to lack of AC (or other ventilation system) in the summer. No daily room turnover. Not really stroller or wheelchair friendly. No fridge in the room or corridor, just the restaurant downstairs.

Big but a bit outdated room with a huge bed and a kitchen. The little room that overlooks the mountains is amazing. The bed was comfy and the kitchen had enough of the appliances for our stay. The location is perfect as it is anywhere in the Logar valley. Lunch is really good here as well.

There was no dish soap in the kitchen and no cloth to wipe the dishes after we ate, which was not ideal. Luckily we bought the paper cloths so we used that to dry the dishes. And the TV is working but there are some white marks on it that are making it harder to watch the TV. Also the bathroom shower could probably be replaced as it is starting to show its age. It feels as if the value is not quite there for this apartment, some improvements are needed.

Best pension in all of the Logarska Dolina! Firstly I have to say that Barbara was an incredible host, she helped us a lot and really made us feel at home. The room was very clean and quaint, it had everything we needed from comfortable beds to a really good bathroom. It was also quite spacious thus we had plenty of space to put our stuff. The facilities are really nice. They got a huge terrace and garden with an amazing view over the valley. The pension is located right in the center of the valley. Thus a perfect base for hiking and climbing the surrounding mountains. They also got a campfire spot outside but they only turn it on during the weekends or with special events. The food here is amazing. We had dinner both nights that we were here and everything was delicious! The ingredients are all locally sourced and they offer many traditional dishes (but also plenty of comfort food). The breakfast was also very good and especially varied, plenty of options. To conclude, we had an amazing stay at Hisa Ojstrica and I am sure that when I return to the logar valley, I will come back to this pension!

This charming guest house is situated in the most spectacular spot in the valley. Our hostess, Barbara, was very welcoming and we were upgraded to the suite on the top floor which was very spacious with a living room and a separate bedroom on a mezzanine. The bed was the most comfortable I've slept on in our 2 month journey around Europe. The breakfast which cost 12 euro pp was excellent and well worth the money, and we ended up having dinner in the restaurant both nights as the food was very, very good, the wine and beer list extensive and there was a choice of menu of the day or al a carte, both good value.

Just be aware that the last floor to the suite is up a spiral staircase and the bed is up steps from the bathroom. It was not a problem for us but may be if you have mobility problems in which case I'd book another room.

Lovely family run property in a beautiful location. The room was comfortable, clean, and tidy, and the attached restaurant was convenient, reasonably priced, and had an extensive menu.

I'm not sure we got the best room (room 3) for our stay. It was on the front corner of the house next to the car park and main entrance, with a sort-of mountain view. Due to flight cancellation, we had a long and delayed trip to get here, and an afternoon nap was difficult due to general noise. I asked the owners to stop their dog barking outside our room at one point, which they were happy to do. ('Luna' was happy to come see us at dinner after being untied from the barn!)

The location is in a paradise whereby you would wish to wake up every morning. :) We had room no. 12 with large view over the mountains and it was amaizing. The staff is great, room clean, beds comfortable (one comment though about pillows - too soft but not a real problem), the food is very good and the vibe is cosy and relaxing :) We had the possibility to rent bikes (normal or electrical) and there is also a EV charging station at the location (which was a blessing for us traveling with an EV car). The location is pet friendly and we had a good stay with our dog :). Trips are at hand from the location: a circuit of the Logar Valley (around 3-4h walking or less with the bikes), some beautiful waterfalls and the teal colour of the rivers always along your path. We would love to return.

My family & I rented 2 rooms at this hotel. We had unexpected snow during our stay so spent more time indoors/at the property than we originally planned and we found it to be a comfortable & cozy place to hang out. The onsite restaurant was delicious, all meals, including breakfast were fresh and abundant. Some of the best traditional Slovenian food we had our entire trip was at this property. The staff was friendly & professional and the valley really is one of the most beautiful places in Slovenia.

The accommodation, location and overall experience in this facility was excellent. Friendly hosts, beautiful surroundings with an incredible view, extremely tasty food, rich breakfast, quality bedding, comfortable mattress, very nice rooms, pets welcome... I could write a lot and for a long time, but I suggest you visit this location because the words are simple are not enough to describe everything that can be expected for a peaceful vacation.

This hotel has the best location in Logar Valley. You can't go wrong with this hotel. Room was decent size and clean- no complains. There is a garden/ restaurant with a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. It feels like a dream. We check many restaurants in the area but this place had the best food. The only complain is that our room was above the kitchen so smell would come to the room. Would definitely recommend this place.

Amazing place, the view is beautiful. The apartment was small but it was nice and the service was great. If we needed anything the staff helped us without any problems. Breakfast was delicious and the restaurant was great for lunch as the food is all home made. We hope to be back again!

Some of the furniture is a bit old fashioned.
