An older style hotel in an interesting building, the rooms were warm, clean and very comfortable and had all the basics. The restaurant is excellent, we had a lovely meal and a good breakfast. Very short distance to the airport and great for an overnight stay before an early morning flight. A lot more character and much better food than the normal airport hotel.

A very loud church bell next to the hotel went off at 7.00 am. Fortunately we were awake for an early morning flight, but there is no way you could sleep through it!

This hotel is an old farm that has been turned into a hotel, restaurant, and conference center. The restaurant has a Michelin mention and we had dinner there one night - the focus was on traditional Slovenian dishes and was excellent. The price was reasonable (it would have been 3-4x more in the US). Breakfast in the morning included eggs, coffee/espresso/capuccino, tea, selection of bread and pastries, proscuitto and other meats, fruit, cereal/muesli, and a veggie tray. The food was great quality/ The room and bed were comfortable and good size. The hotel is in a very quiet area (though only about 10 minutes from the highway). It's surrounded by a small village and a lot of farming land.

There is a nice outdoor courtyard but there is no interior space (other than the restaurant) for guests to use as a sitting area. I think there is a lot more for the corporate events, but we weren't part of any of that.

It was an outstanding place to both stay and eat. The room was clean and well equipped, beds comfortable, room large. The meal was excellent. We did 6 course Slovenian tasting menu for dinner and every bite was delicious. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly and gave great descriptions of the meal as well as places to visit in the area. Altogether a great stay and I would highly recommend. Lovely venue in a great location with amazing food.

The Michelin star restaurant was fantastic. We had the most amazing meal. I don’t know the last time I spent two hours enjoying a meal with my husband. We had to leave early in the morning for the airport and the stuff prepared to to go boxes with small sandwiches, fruit, and a drink for our journey. That was very thoughtful. It was nice that the hotel was just a few minutes away from the airport but you didn’t feel like you were at a hotel near the airport. The stuff called us a cab to get a ride to the airport early in the morning. 

The hotel rooms them selves are clean and basic. Nothing fancy at all. They have an outdated TV, but we really didn’t care about that at all. The staff is very nice and accommodating. We have been camping for two weeks and had a lot of heavy baggage to haul from the parking lot to the hotel lobby check in. They didn’t really have a cart for us so we had to carry everything. Not a huge deal breaker, but should be noted.

The hotel is really clean and nice, everything is like on the pictures, the restaurant and breakfast they are serving is also magnificent (it is a little bit short of selections but everything they offer is very delicious), they serve water, orange juice and offer coffee (a good coffee made from a professional coffee machine) included in the breakfast. I definitely recommend.

The only negative thing I can distinguish would be that there is no fridge in the room (there is although 1 on our floor just across the elevator and everyone on that floor can put food there). Another thing our room did not have a terrace (I do not know for other rooms). Everything else was perfect and I recommend this hotel.

Comfort, 5 minutes to airport, exceptional restaurant on site. We had a very early departure, and a breakfast to go was prepared for us.

There was a plugin air freshener in bedroom and another clipped to sink pipe in bathroom—YUCK! If rooms are properly cleaned, as this was, there is no need for this. Many people, such as ourselves, are allergic to scents. When did hotels start doing this—we are finding this so frequently lately

Great for our two family stay, plenty of room for us all. Wonderful to have laundry facilities between cities and a chance to clean our clothing. Also nice to have a SPAR across the street for provisions, and plenty in walking distance. House stays cool in the summer which is nice on those HOT days. Parking easily for three cars.

Would be nice to have curtains on upstairs windows for privacy and sun/sleep-in.

The staff was excellent & went out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay for us. We stayed in the old part of the hotel & we loved the charming antique furnishings.

I wouldn't say that this is something that I didn't like because this hotel was such a great find but it's more of a suggestion as I am very much into having all details figured out before my stay. It might be helpful for future guests to have some information on getting to the airport before their stay. We had an early flight out & turned our rental car in the day before and since we had not been there before, we were not sure about how to get to the airport in the morning. We were planning on walking but the path we walked back from dropping off the car wasn't always paved and sometimes had fast cars speeding by close to us. We happened to mention it to the waitress at the restaurant & she quickly set up a taxi to pick us up in the morning so it all worked out just fine for us.

Very close to the airport (5min) with a big and free parking. The hotel Restaurant is on the Michelin guide, so you can imagine how good the food is, unfortunately we arrived late after 20h00, and the kitchen closes at 20h00. The breakfast has all the essentials, and the same team of the restaurant bakes all the bread, even baked more white bread just for us, also I had the best scrambled eggs in my life. All the staff was very nice, ! Was nice to see the bathroom with good ammenities, and even body lotion!

Very friendly staff offering breakfast 10 minutes early inorder we could make the plane. Very close to airport. Very good restaurant with seating in the garden.

Got a room without ac. Not acceptable with 35 degrees. Got another with ac. God service for dogs but rather costly. Rooms must be rather old but well maintained but no luxury. Seems prices a little too high.
