The entire experience of staying at Brdo was phenomenal. The rooms were perfectly outfitted with amazing lighting, bedding, and any other necessities, our room was immaculately cleaned and smelt amazing, as did the rest of the hotel. The climate control in the room worked well, the view from the room was stunning. The Wellness Spa center was a huge highlight of our stay, one of the most amazing spas I have ever seen in my life. The breakfast buffet was incredibly well done with many options, and plenty of fruit + plant based milks for vegans (alongside other nice vegetables, bread, cereal options). The location of the property is perfect with plenty to explore on the estate, surrounding area (mountains, restaurants, waterfalls, churches). The Brdo estate itself is the best kept estate I have ever encountered, very impressed. The gift shop had the most amazing items to choose from too! We also liked that the hotel was dog friendly! A+++

I usually prefer non-carpet rooms but this hotel with carpet rooms felt very warm and comforting.

FANTASTIC! Great remote location with a mountain view, spacious parking and peaceful park area for long walks. Recently renovated rooms, small but modern and super comfortable. Extremely friendly staff everywhere, wide choice of breakfast (including, fruits, desserts, local meats and cheeses). Last but not least, SPA area has the next level premises even compared to Kempinski level of hotels. Must-stay when in Slovenia!

Restaurant working time and menu are of less than one star hotel. Working hours except for bf are bad, no food after 9 o clock which is non sense for hotel of that category, plus you cant order just simple things like cheese ham or some small snacks just cause they don t offer !!!! you cant order any snack !! that is not acceptable , you want to pay and it is simply inpossible !

Our stay at this hotel was truly wonderful from start to finish. The rooms were clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated, offering everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was spotless, with great water pressure in the shower. The breakfast and dinner were both excellent, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options available. Everything was well-prepared and regularly restocked. The atmosphere in the restaurant was warm and welcoming, making every meal enjoyable. What really stood out was the incredible service. Every member of staff was friendly, professional, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Nothing was too much trouble and their genuine hospitality made a big difference. The hotel facilities were also fantastic — from the modern wellness area to the beautiful surroundings. Parking was easy and well-organized, and we really appreciated the electric car charging points on-site. Overall, this was a perfect experience. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for quality, comfort, and excellent service.

- The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. - The staff was very professional and helped us with everything. - The access to the Brdo estate was a big plus. The park around the Brdo castle is truly impressive. - The restaurant has very good food, I wouldn't recommend the buffet which can be improved, for dinner, but the a la carte menu is really good. - The restaurant staff was also really nice, and really helpful. Overall, I can say that we had a really good time.

- The shower needs an improvement as it is easy to flood the bathroom as a result of the drainage not being good. But on the plus side we asked the hotel staff to help us with the flooding and they promptly helped us, so it was just a minor inconvenience.

We were family of 4 that really enjoyed our stay in the hotel! All the staff were very polite and gave us good tips on where to eat, where to shop, what to visit etc. We felt very welcome from the beginning. The breakfast was super tasty with many varieties of both hot and cold dishes and deserts. The beds were big and comfortable, we all slept and rested every night we were there. Before booking the hotel, we read some complaints that 2h in spa is too little, but we found it was enough for the facilities that exist in the spa. We mostly used saunas, salt room and relax area and enjoyed a lot. The hotel has great location, but having the car is to best option to explore around - Brdo park, Kranj, Ljubljana... Everything is up to 30 min drive. We were skiing in Krvavec mountain every day and drive to the gondola every day, it took 15 min. All in all, we highly recommend this hotel!

We were a bit disappointed with a la carte options for dinner in the hotel restaurant. Unlike the breakfast that was amazing, dinner options felt quite limited.

Our room was modern, pristinely clean, and elegant. The hotel restaurant had the best buffet breakfast I've ever had with fresh, organic, local ingredients; and prepared by skilled chefs. Dinner in the hotel was exquisite, yet surprisingly affordable. The desserts are out of this world. The wellness area might miss some fan favourites (jacuzzi, pool) but the facilities that are available are top-notch, and best of all: included with your room stay. The hotel itself is next to a private park (owned by the same company), so the park visit is included with your stay and is absolutely worth it.

Location of the hotel, while fabulous, makes you car-dependent. Getting to the hotel by public transport is quite a feat, and going anywhere further afield by public transport is an odyssey. While car rental in Slovenia is fairly affordable, we missed the sustainable option we normally go for.

Amazing experience. Everything was up to the standard, the room was a good size and bed was super comfortable. There is free parking space in front of the hotel. Location is incredible. You also get a free entrance to the park and some wellness amenities included in the price. Breakfast was delicious and coffee as well, lots of dairy-free options for both. The staff is very friendly and attentive.

There was an issue with the shower drain as the bathroom got a little flooded, but since I was staying for one night only it wasn't that big of a deal. Other than that everything was perfect.

The location is superb. The park next door is world class :)

Parking next to the hotel possible, big breakfast buffet, Spa & wellness area is good structured and relaxation there is wonderful. Room & features of the TV are wide and good. Mattress is soft and comfortable. Pillow options on the TV are a nice add on.

Some essentials on the breakfast were missing, no baked ham to the scramble eggs available, Hot chocolate from the machine does not fit into the cups, salt is hard to find on the buffet same as pepper. (both of them not on the table). Cutlery is not centralized on the large buffet, small forks not available for the small sweets. The knife to cut the bread on your own is not suitable for the soft bread which you need to cut. With the staff in the wellness area, there is a sense of organizational uncertainty.
