Simply an extraordinary experience. The hotel is greatly situated, beautifully furnished, you feel very well there. Room was big and comfortable, wifi very quick what is not common usually in other hotels. The parking is big and the garden is a great place to relax near river. Breakfast was excellent, you can find there everything what need for great breakfast. Per wish the owner prepares you eggs of your choice. My wife has food allergy and the owner didn't hesitate a second to try to get her everything she can eat. All the food is in high quality and high cleanness is everywhere. The last but not least tribute goes to the owner - they made us feel like at home. A very friendly couple who run the hotel from their hearts. Thank you for your hospitality and friendliness! We will definitely come back :-) It is worth to visit the beautiful Skofja Loka and hotel Zamorc as well.

This property exceeded my expectations. I was excited to stay here once I had made my reservation and I was not disappointed. From the personable and gracious hosts, to the quaint custom furnishings, to the delicious fresh-cooked breakfast - everything was perfect! The highlight of our time in Slovenia! We would highly recommend to others and would stay here again.

Our stay at Hotel Zamorc was an absolute delight from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the incredibly friendly owners. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, with extraordinary attention to detail throughout the property. Every corner feels thoughtfully designed—charming, cozy, and full of character. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well-appointed, with lovely touches that made it feel like home. Each morning, we were treated to a delicious included breakfast, made with fresh ingredients and local flavors. It was the perfect way to start each day of our adventures. Hotel Zamorc’s location could not be more perfect. Nestled right on the banks of the river, we had direct access to the water from the property's peaceful backyard. After long days exploring, we loved relaxing and cooling off in the river—it was pure magic. And just a few steps from the front door, we were in the heart of the charming medieval town of Škofja Loka. The main street and town square are only a short walk away, with quaint shops, cafes, and beautiful architecture to enjoy. The hotel also served as an ideal base for exploring both Lake Bled and Ljubljana, each just a short drive away. It was wonderful to come back to such a peaceful and picturesque spot after sightseeing in those more bustling areas. Hotel Zamorc truly exceeded our expectations in every way. The warmth of the hosts, the stunning location, and the thoughtful details throughout made our stay unforgettable. We recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone visiting Slovenia and can't wait to return!

A wonderfully situated property right on the Sora with excellent access to the old town and a huge network of walking trails. The staff are some of the sweetest and most helpful people we have ever met. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious! Thank you!

Very nice place on the river bank and convenient for radial trips and hikes. Very clean! Good breakfasts. The owner recommended several hiking routes that were not in our plans. We changed the program on his advice and did not regret it. The advice was very worthwhile.

The owner of this establishment made a remark to my wife that she was wearing mountain boots, although many visitors were wearing the same shoes. We had to prove that the shoes were clean and could not be the cause of damage to the floor covering. We have never been reprimanded in such a way in any hotel in the world! It was very unpleasant... We think that this is unacceptable. The hotel advertises itself as a four-star hotel, but by all parameters it is a very good B&B hotel.

Lovely and characterful hotel. Great location, close to town with garden overlooking river. Kind, friendly hosts. Excellent breakfast, including good meats, cheeses and home-made products.

Beautiful hotel, I wish the quality of the build and finishes were the same in my own house! Great hosts, fantastic location a stone throw from the centre and castle, on the river with a beautiful garden, great breakfast, spotless and immaculate hotel throughout.

I would have really liked better lights by the bed in the room. Ceiling lights (including downlight) are very unappealing, and weak lamps by the bed made reading a book a bit too challenging. Cozier lighting and reading lights would make this place perfect.

Excellent breakfast with freshly cooked eggs

Wonderful place! Zamorc was the starting point for our trips around Slovenia. It was perfect because it was close to everything and mostly because the owners were kind to give us recomendations what to do, where to go Woth special tips that we couldn’t have from anywhere else. It was very helpful! Zamorc is very quiet, with a beautiful view, great breakfast and the cleanest place where we ever stayed! Thank you for having us, we will come back!

Great location in a beautiful village. I arrived when there was no-one at the reception, but they remotely let me inside and the key was waiting for me on the desk! Very modern room with a nice atmosphere. Definitely recommended! The breakfast was great too.

I'm quite tall at 193 cm (~6'4) and the bed was a smidge too short for me, so I couldn't lay down straight. It was okay at a bit of an angle. Otherwise, a very comfortable bed!
