We stayed at Hotel Morea for one night during our visit to Ljubljana. Our arrival was quite late in the evening, but the hotel staff was helpful and made late check-in easy and stress-free, which we greatly appreciated after a long day of travel. There was convenient parking available right at the hotel, which represents an advantage. The room itself was clean and well-maintained, and the beds were comfortable. In the morning, we enjoyed breakfast before continuing our way. Although our stay was short and we didn't spend much time on the property, everything we experienced was smooth and pleasant. This is a solid option for a short stop in Ljubljana, especially if you’re arriving by car and need a good night’s sleep.

I have stayed here before multiple times and so far never really been disappointed. The rooms are well sized and you tend to get what is advertised online, plus the staff is quite friendly and some of the workers are fluent in english, serbian and german as well (simply ask) so I did not have any issues with communication.

Unfortunately the hotel is on the edge of town so the only way to get here without a car is to take a local train from Ljubljana main station and walk about 10-15min from the local train station.

The place was easy to find and get to. The staff were beyond helpful and polite. We had two stays on two different days close to each other (used the hotel as a transit stop), and the first night we had some issues during our travels and we wrote the property that we will arrive late. They responded that it's not a problem, and let us know where the key will be waiting for us (no 24h reception). Afterwards on our return leg of the trip, we told them that we'll arrive at 21:30 and if we could have dinner at that time (their restaurant closes at 22:00). Unfortunately, we were a bit later than that (21:55) and we weren't expecting dinner, but they actually were waiting for us to come and to make us our dinner!!! After that dinner, we were chatting with the staff and let them know we had an early checkout (5 AM), and they even offered us to make us a travel lunch packet! As I said, beyond helpful! The dinner was amazing btw, just perfect.

I don't think more people use this as a transit hotel, but it would've been really helpful if breakfast started at 6 AM, instead of 7. But tbh, this is just nitpicking from me, everything else was perfect.

Let say that everything was fine, hotel’s location is fine in case you are on he car so there is no problem to reach the city centre, the room was clean and enough for the family for staying for a night. There was no issue with parking he car at the private hotel’s parking. In the morning there is a breakfast buffet served which is quite nice.

There was some smell from the bathroom drain, but if you close the door there is no issue. Also I would emphasise the door from corridor has no insulation in the bottom, so all the sounds from other guests coming at the late evening is in he room, so would be the case for the families with small children.

Everything! Polite crew and nice quiet hotel. Also rooms are smelling nice. Breakfast was great, lots of foods and drinks to choose. A bit far from center, but you can take a bus which leads you to Center. Bus stop is in front of hotel. They have , probably a local cat which walks and greets you around hotel. We event let the cat for a bit in our room because we love cats. That cat is best thing there. I was drinking a caffe, cat was just walking around hanging with me. So if you come alone, you have a buddy to hang out. Best hotel ever and will come again!

Well. The reason I booked the superior family room was due to a road trip accident and needed a place to recover from the stress. MOREA was perfect for that. It's a quiet hotel, slightly remotely from the city. The room was comfortable, so was the shower. As for the staff, it couldn't be any better. It's an international crew from young and kind, helpful individuals. There are outdoor tables to enjoy the meals or your drink (smoking friendly area). Indoors the cafeteria, the bar and the restaurant are super cosy, the variety of meals and drinks are worth the try. I can only thank them for understanding me as human after a car crash and making my stay safe and calm. Would visit again.

There's nothing not to like.

We liked the location, slightly out of the city centre, so quiet, but a bus stop just outside the hotel, where you can catch a bus to the centre for 1.30 euro. Rooms on the first floor were decorated recently and looked great, second floor accommodation was comfortable too. The air conditioner worked perfectly, and we really needed it. There is a restaurant where you can get a nice meal and drinks for a very reasonable price.

Dinner service was a bit slow, as everything is cooked fresh, so keep that in mind if you are in a hurry.

The hotel is located at the outskirts of the city, but there is a bus station that takes you to the city center in aprox. 50 min. The building is well mentained, with free parking space, a nice outdoor terrace and well equipped and confortable rooms. The heating system and water function really good.The breakfast is a la carte but it was included in the accommodation price. I was happy with my choice for one day in Ljubljiana. Good value for money!

Very tasty breakfast with a wide variety. Kind and helpful staff. Very nice, sophisticated interiors in the common areas.

Unfortunately, the cleaning was not thorough, dirty walls, water marks on the ceiling of the room. There was only a super small trash can in the bathroom. The bathroom cabinet was worn out, the toilet seat was unusable, it was definitely not attached to the bowl...annoying inconveniences.

We liked that the room was very clean . It was very convenient that there is a parking area and we parked the car easily. The breakfast , during the weekend , many options of the buffet weren’t refilled .On Monday , it was great and tasty food! Good value for money considering that breakfast was included.
