I chose a hotel close to the motorway so that I could continue my journey. The ApartHotel Vila Minka is located very close to the motorway, which is convenient. However, there was no noise from cars. It is a very green, quiet area. The hotel has a restaurant, and there is also a wonderful park, restaurant and shops nearby. The hotel has its own unique charm, everything is tasteful and original. The staff is friendly. The room is clean and spacious. All amenities are available. It is also very good that the room has a small kitchen with all the equipment, which will be convenient for people with special dietary needs. I really liked the city and the hotel itself. Amazing Villa - The impluvium is the central feature of the atrium, a large, open-roofed main hall in a Roman house (domus) around which the primary living rooms are built. This is a family business, and Nina (the owner) was not only professional, but absolutely amazing, warm, friendly, polite, and accommodating.She went above and beyond to help with anything we needed. Fascinating Lady !

It is an excellent choice for travellers that wish to visit Ljubljana. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful in any questions we had about out trip. We were pleasantly surprised when they upgraded for free our booked room to an apartment which included a very convenient kitchen, just because we were staying for 5 nights. I must say that even the simple room was very spacious. Everything was perfect and when we will go back to Ljubljana definitely we will be happy to stay again in Vila Minka.

The apartment was really clean, like really, really clean and nice and it has everything you need for your stay. Owner is helpful, nice and polite.

Apartment we got was not shown or described in any of the photos. Everything was really nice, but it wasn't like shown on the photos. We booked one, but we got another. Also, it says we have sofa and coffee machine but we haven't got any of that. It is not a problem, everything was just great, but it is false advertising and it should be removed from room/apartment facilities. Also, it is a bit noisy. Even though separated from hallway with two doors, we heard voices, walking etc in quiet hours.

There was nothing I didn’t like. Everything met or exceeded my expectations.

We had a great stay! Ninja, our host, was incredibly kind, always attentive, and gentle — she truly made us feel welcome. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. Having parking available was definitely a plus.

While the hotel is a bit far from the city downtown, it is easily accessible by car, and you can conveniently park in Tivoli Park. Overall, a lovely place to stay!

I thoroughly enjoyed everything about the Vila Minka. It was clean and pleasant, beautiful, simple, tasteful and very peaceful. A lovely location in a residential area. A lovely breakfast with anything you could want. This is a family business, and Nina was amazing, not only professional, but warm, friendly, polite, and accommodating. The grocery Mercato was only a short walk away, and it was a short drive from Ljubljana city and the airport as well. This was my first real get-away for myself, and I couldn't have chosen a better place for peace and warmth. I can't wait to come back!

There was nothing about The Vila Minka that I could possibly complain about. There was nothing unpleasant or even slightly uncomfortable about it at all. It's the perfect place for people who want something tasteful, without being ostentatious or gaudy.

The property is situated about 4 km from the city center, which ensures quiet surroundings. We came to the hotel in an emergency situation and the host allowed us to stay in our room even after check-out hours. Also, the host was very easy-going and gave us many tips on how to get to the center and where to shop for groceries. The room we stayed in was beautiful, the kitchenette was well equipped (fridge, silverware, tupperware, kettle, stove). The room was airconditioned and even had a terrace with a view.

People: everyone was very kind and helpful, and receptionist were really nice to all the guests - you feel like at home. Interior. Actually, photos do not do it justice: it has unique and beautiful interior both in common areas and in rooms. It has a nice patio with fountain and a statue (and sofas, of course), dining room looks very nice. And rooms are designed the way so they give historical vibe. Surroundings. It is located in green area, so it’s not very hot. Supermarket nearby. Only 4km to city center.

The receptionist Nina was absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond to help with anything we needed. Located in a quiet neighborhood outside the city but with a good bus line nearby. Great AC, comfortable bed, and excellent shower. Perfect place to stay if you don’t mind the easy commute by taxi ($7) or the bus ($1.30).

The only downside were the busses didn’t run very frequently so you needed to time that right or have Nina call a taxi for you.
