The hotel was beautiful. It is located right on the river and we had a majestic view of it from our room's window. The hotel itself is very cosy and well decorated, a little vintage, it felt like a fairytale. The breakfast included a lot of different stuff, so anyone can select something, that they would like. The parking was right next to the entrance and they had surveillance which we happy about, because we were worrying for our car and the stuff we were leaving inside it. The bus stop is also right next to the hotel, which was very convenient for us, so we could go to town and explore the beautiful city.

The only thing I would say is that there is no elevator and it was difficult to carry a heavy suitcase up the stairs alone.

The place is very very nice and the room extremely comfortable, spacious and clean. The staff was always very nice to us and they also provided us a crib for our 5 months old little one and made sure we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The breakfast took place at the cafeteria/ restaurant that belongs to the structure and was good. Also, we had a small misunderstanding with the payment but they were very kind in that occasion as well. Would recommend.

We read some reviews about the excellent food served at their restaurant and planned to also have dinner there but when we arrived the place was fully booked for a private event. Besides the disappointment for the missed dinner we had troubles falling asleep because there was live or very loud music happening at the restaurant till late and if felt like our room was located right above ... I guess we would have wished to know in advance about this event so to plan better our stay ( with a 5 month old at 7 pm is hard to go and search for other similar options near by) and perhaps a small discount to apologize and compensate for the discomfort caused by the wild party going on till late.

The property is very nice, located in a quiet area not far from the city center. Our room was big, very nice, clean, and comfortable. Staff is very friendly and helpful. A plus is the terrace where you can enjoy your breakfast or a drink in the evening. The garden it’s not so big as in the picture and you can sit close to the river only during the weekends – this is what the staff informed us when we wanted to sit at the wooden tables. It’s a small but comfortable terrace. Free parking places are available. It was a nice experience and I recommend this property.

Everything about Dvor Tacen was excellant. . This was our first visit to Lljubijana. and we were not disapointed. Dvor Tacen was very clean ,very comfortable exspecially the bed and pillows. room. size amazing. nothing was too much trouble for the staff, Hannah in particular, expecially helping us to navigate the local bus route into city (15 minutes ). This is a well placed h B&B . Food very reasonably priced and lovely. Look firward to going back

It was just what we hoped it would be. Clean, spacious and comfortable. There is a restaurant across the road that was full of locals (always a good sign) and the food was excellent. Massive portions of Slovenian specialties - so come hungry! And very reasonably priced too. The breakfast at the hotel was one of the best we had on our trip! Delicious and a beautiful presentation as well. Close enough to Ljubljana and the front desk gave us directions on where to find cheaper parking in the city. The staff is super friendly and helpful.

Very clean and cozy apartment with home-vibes. Food was amazing in both restaurant and the coffee shop. Bus station is just around the corner and we didn't have to worry about anything, as we got tickets and the instructions at the reception. This place is both close to the river, hiking trails and beautiful Mount Saint Mary, but also very close to the center od the city, only 20 minutes of bus drive. Our biggest praise go to the staff, especially miss Ajda who was so kind and helpful and made this beautiful stay even better for us.

Great stay over for our first night in slovenia, we did wish that we had booked longer as it was close to city centre but we were travellling around Slovenia. The restaurant at the side is excellent also with very friendly staff with very good prices Room was very clean and tidy and loved the bathroom. Thank you hope to see you again in the future

Loved this property. I was worried it would be noisy as it’s next door to a restaurant but it wasn’t. We had a room on the first floor. Cafe downstairs is excellent as is the restaurant next door for a more formal meal. Prices were great in both places. Breakfast was of a high standard and included real coffee. The receptionist was lovely. She helped me find a medical clinic and even rang them. Made it so much easier. I’d definitely stay here again

Parking can be tricky because of the cafe and restaurant.

Room very spacious and light looking onto the garden and cafe terrace. The bathroom had a shower and was very spacious. The decor is authentic in an old world style. Breakfast was tasty and plenty of it.

There was a bit of trouble parking, the popularity of the cafe means that there were no parking spaces we did a bit of juggling with a member of staff and parked behind their car.

The room was very clean and spacious. The hotel staff were courteous and helpful. The generous breakfast was well served.

Perhaps the only drawback I can mention is that the area was very busy on a Friday evening, parking was a bit difficult. But one of the hotel staff was kind enough to let me park in his space. 👍 🙂
