A bit outdated and tired hotel on the high hill, where you can get with your luggage only by car. People walk and hike up, but dont try to do that with luggage 😁. It was cloudy and foggy days i spent there, so did not see anything around from the hill. No kettle, no tea in the room, but outside the hotel there is a self-service tea-coffee-water dispencer fir 1,5+ eur depending what you want. Completely wrong season to visit is february, when I visited. Absolutely no guests.

I can write many things, but the key message is one - amazing view, well worth the name of the hotel! We arrived at the evening in a stormy weather, so climbing up the hill with the car felt like Indiana Jones experience (positive). During the night it was thrilling to see the lightings in the sky and at the breakfast we admired the amazing view to the nearby hills and mountains at the restaurant terrace.

The price was rather expensive, considering the overall old feel of the hotel and the lack of air conditioner. But again, only for the view and the romance it was well worth it.

I've been here three times now, and I'm always having a good time here. The location is overwhelming, on a 650m hilltop, with a wonderful view of Kranj and the mountains. Free parking is always available. I don't recommend visiting the town without a car, if you're not an experienced hiker - the walk uphill is really long and demanding. Better to drink a coffee on the balcony and enjoy the terrific view - or go to the outstanding restaurant.

Do keep in mind that the property is reealy high up and the road up is very steep, narrow and full of curves. Also keep an eye out for bugs, they do mention this, but if you manage to turn every light off and wait an hour or so then you can easily sleep with an open window

The hotel is located on top of a local hill with a beautiful view to the nearby town and surrounding mountains. We especially liked the view from our balcony. The rooms were ok, breakfast was sufficient.

The hotel feels a bit outdated inside, wishing for a refurbishment. There were no a/c in the rooms and no mosquito nets on windows/balcony doors, so we had to keep lights off during quite warm summer evening when we stayed in the hotel. Fortunately staff was kind to warn us about it when we arrived.

Stunning location.

No shuttle service provided as stated. As we did not have a car, we walked down the hill daily but got a taxi back in the evening. Did this for 6 days, taxi an absolute rip off, unreliable at times and a bit of an attitude from driver. Restaurant and bar are not open every day and they close too early given location and nothing close by to go to without going back down the hill and taxi back up at a minimum of €25 (each way). More staff needed as often just 1 staff member manning everything and you can sense they are under pressure. Manager at reception needs to make some effort to interact with guests.

Beautiful views from the place where the hotel is located (and from the room balcony), clean and comfortable room, very good restaurant and breakfasts, super helpful and kind staff (especially Anja).

Due to the very hot weather, AC in the room would be nice. There was a ceiling fan, though.

Located in the forest on top of the mountain. Awesome view. Nice outside seating area and terrace. Vending machines for drinks, snacks after closing hours.

Difficult to reach if you have luggage and no car. (Taxis charge quite a lot for this 10 min Ride.) Only non-alcoholic beer in the vending machines.

The location is great with a beautiful view from the balcony as well as the whole hotel area. Rooms are reasonably big and comfortable. Staff is friendly.

Breakfast can be improved, though only minor complaints. It is reasonable, but for example, scrambled eggs were always overcooked as they were kept on heat for a long time.

No bar or restaurant facilities, just a set of vending machines that accepted only cash and a change dispenser that didn't work (plus no prices on some machines: trial and error the only option). Since the hotel is quite a long way from the town, the lack of facilities is problematic. Fan in bedroom was not well placed for bed and was barely adequate in summer heat.
