We visited Zanzibella for 11 nights. In summary, the team is very accommodating, the location is quiet and the food is delicious. About the rooms: the rooms match the photos here on Booking and are large, spacious and definitely kept clean. There is staff coming to the room twice a day, once in the morning to keep the rooms clean, changing towels etc and in the evening to use mosquito spray. But you can definitely tell the workers if you don't want the spray to be used. About the location: it is a very relaxed hotel, perfect opportunity to escape from everyday stress. So, whoever is in search for a hotel with party and stuff, I have to disappoint you. This is really a hotel for relaxing :-) Additionally on the beach you are not often disturbed by the so-called 'beach boys', which sometimes became annoying at other locations. About the pool: another bonus are the pool towels, so you don’t have to pack it, if you will visit zanzibella. The pool is very nice, has a good look on the beach (pool to beach walking distance max (!) 25 metres) Additionally there is the possibility to get some drinks from the bar Offers: The hotel has good turn off programs such as massage, yoga or even external programs are offered to the customer. One can also get honest opinions from the reception, for which we were very grateful in this case. 2-3 times a week, traditional African music is also offered to the guests during dinner. We were definitely super satisfied with the hotel and were able to well relax and soak up the sun during our visit. Hakuna Matata! :-)

First of all, let me say that I am only writing this as advice, not as a bad thing. My wife and I were really positevly impressed with your hotel. There is just one thing I would change if I were you. Twice during my stay in your hotel I noticed that one of the supervisors was discussing what is right and wrong with the workers infront of the guests. Of course it is right to teach them how to work and what they have done wrong, but I would tell my workers that on the spot, not in front of the guests. Once again I am only writing this as advice, otherwise my wife and I were very happy with you and we will be happy to recommend you in Slovenia.

Room was very big and had good space. Beds were comfortable. Bar and pool was very clean and had an amazing view over the beach which was clean. Restaurant had good options of food. Performances during the evening some nights. Toilets were clean. You get fresh beach towels everyday which is good. Balkony was also very good.

Location was not so good. Need a trainingroom. Food was the biggest dissapointment. we ended up ordering Pizza 2 days in a row because the rest of the food wasnt so good.

the hotel was very very nice, all the facilities were excellent, the food was delicious, the beach is private and close by, the staff was helpful and nice and allowed us late checkout which was very helpful. the rooms are nicely decorated, comfortable, big and are cleaned twice a day. the hotel has entertainment at night such as a live band and authentic dancing which was very nice. all is romantic and everyone tries their best to make your stay as wonderful as can be.

WOW,the place is where dreams are made. It is a new hotel and feels like it. It is so clean with plenty of staff on hand to keep it like that. The breakfast was really good with a lot of choices and the baked beans were out of this world. The pool is just right for cooling down with seats next to the bar, so you can keep your legs chilled as you drink. The dinner was well presented and filling with a great ocean view. The staff are always smiling and polite, welcoming you wherever you go. The landscaping of the grounds are a delight, a lot of work has gone into it and it shows. The room was large, comfortable and very well decorated with a fully working mosquito net, though I have yet to see one of them around here. The balcony was large with loungers and a table with chairs, so plenty of room outside our room. The music is chilled and not overpowering like some other hotels feel they need to do. There is security at the front and at the beach with good cctv coverage of the rooms, so it feels super safe. We extended our 1 night stay by a further SIX nights as we did not want to miss out on this treasure, it really is a must for all ages and there were families here too. Something for ever one. What? It had no faults. Truly perfect.

The pool was amazing but could have done with a small shaded area so you can chill out from the midday sun. The room was very comfortable and spacious but we did have a lot of bugs enter the room. The room had a amazing balcony which was large enough for a table and chairs and 2 sunloungers. The beach very relaxing and there was no hassle from local beach boys. The beach loungers also had plug points so you can charge devices which was awesome. The food we ordered was very tasty. The general manager Marta was extremely pleasant and friendly.

The breakfast was limited and for a 5 star resort they only supplied 1 juice with breakfast. The downstairs seating area indoors was limited and there was a big space where more tables could have been set up. The water dispenser was extremely slow even though I mentioned this to the F&B manager on day 1 of our stay and everyday thereafter. The food service was slow considering there was only a handful of guests in the hotel during our stay. The F&B staff were very nice and friendly but their English or understanding of it was somewhat limited which made conversations difficult. Water should have been free during the day instead of having to buy it. the menu never changed. The sea or beach had a very strong unpleasant smell during our stay.

We met Isabella, the owner of the hotel She spoiled us with coconuts on the pool Very kind and helpful staff We are vegetarians and because they cared so much they built us a special vegetarian menu Chaimae which is the The manager from Morocco was super charming Thanks to her we felt like we were at home in a warm and welcoming atmosphere She protested energetically and the place would not have looked the same without her Thank you very much, we will definitely come back again

- internet had a problem and took one day to solve it - they were not very organized with the restaurant payments. But in the end everything went well and no drama at all. - the hotel it’s not a 5* in my opinion. It’s a really good hotel but 4* maximum. Also overpriced.

The staff was very welcoming and the service was excellent. High level of cleaning. Facilities were fantastic. Very nice room. The food was great and not expensive. Highly recommended hotel, everything was fantastic!

Beautiful, modern facility with enables you to enjoy the beauty of Zanzibar. The view from the pool is incredible and you can tell that a lot of effort has been put into the design of the rooms.

The management and their friends are all over the place (e.g. having their late breakfast together with the guests) and not professional at all times - but as it is a new place things will fall into place
