This is a classic old French city centre hotel, opposite the railway station. Things are a little 'worn', but it was perfect for one overnight. Limited free parking is available, which is a bonus, and breakfast – typically French – was excellent, the croissants were still warm from the boulangerie! The extra bonus, of course, is the beautiful Notre Dame Cathedral just down the road, a magnificent building.
The surrounding area is a bit dingy, and on a Sunday evening, dining options within walking distance are pretty limited – a choice, basically of kebab shops and pizza take aways in the main. None of this, of course, is the hotel's fault.

Orange juice,2 bread rolls, 1 croissant each choice of tea and coffee in newly refurbished bar was fine.
The hotel area and room are appalling, stained filthy carpets, old dirty shower. When we arrived we thought it was an abandoned building. I don’t think this hotel should be advertised on booking.com
