Hotel is relatively close to the centre. There is a tram and bus stop more or less opposite the main entrance. The hotel seems to have been newly renovated and is extremely clean. My room was spacious, had a balcony and the bathroom was decently sized. I am not sure where the chair for the balcony went though. The breakfast was a very simple bread, jam and ham affair with yoghurts and such but perfectly adequate considering it was included in the price. If you have a chance, definitely visit Trattoria Bon Bon perhaps 10 minutes on foot from the hotel. It is perhaps the best meal I have ever had in my time in Italy especially if you choose their degustation menu. For a very fair price you get 5 courses which I think is absolutely amazing. Thank you to the receptionist whose name escapes me for the recommendation. He looks like the guy from The Hangover.

Honest the only downside about the hotel is the area in which it is situated. I have visited Italy perhaps ten times now and I have quite frankly never seen anything like it. I would say that I felt safer next to Roma Termini which is quite something. Obviously after a while I got somewhat used to the situation but we constantly had people sizing us up for a mugging. My friend returned from work in the centre to someone lying on the bonnet of his car.

The room was small, and the bathroom was even smaller than I expected, but the beds were very comfortable. People at the reception really made the experience better for me, they were really helpful and did their best to make the guests comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was nice, you not only have classic sweet Italian breakfast items but also eggs, butter, tomato, sausages etc.

When I was visited Turin it was early December and was very cold, the temperature varied between 1-10 degrees. The AC in the room was centralized and didn't go above 20 degrees, and after a cold day out, it was still very very cold. While the lovely people at the reception offered extra blankets and warm tea before going to bed, I couldn't say I slept very warm and comfortable. While the tram stop is literally in front of the hotel, keep in mind that still it's is about 20-minute tram ride from city center!

FANTASTIC HOTEL AND STAFF.. when I stayed I was actually the fourth person/family checking in from the UK - so we are all finding something good about the hotel...mine was that it was one tram stop from my family that I was visiting - and the tram stop was right outside the hotel - so very easy - the number 4 tram takes you right into the centre of Turin. The staff were very friendly and informative and the room whilst small (the double bed had enough space to walk around) was very clean and comfortable - I literally was only going back to sleep and the bed so very very comfortable, so comfortable that I didn't realise I had even fallen asleep and woke up feeling very rested. There is air conditioning which was a heaven as the temperatures when I went were 27 degrees! The bathroom was a 4 piece ensuite and again very small, but everything you need, the shower had great pressure and was just the right temperature and easy to alter quickly as needed. The breakfast is a continental style that is different cereals, croissants, fruit, bread, cheese and salami with various sweet cakes (Italians love a sweet breakfast!) If you like TEA... then ask for "acqua calda per te per favore" and you get to choose toasted options that they will give to you - I had a ham and cheese toastie on one day and just the cold options the next. Security is fantastic with coded entry and a fully manned reception until 10pm (after that you use the code) There is free wi-fi and an elevator to all floors. I would certainly stay again.

This is the only negative - the area the hotel is in could seem a little daunting at first - as "not completely touristy" and there are a lot of immigrants standing around the street... but this is the only negative and that said I STILL FELT SAFE - so do not let first impressions get the better of you.

Alfredo and Giorgio were exceptionally helpful at the front desk. They gave us great advice on local dining options and transportation tips. Alfredo gave us a good overview of Piedmont wines, which helped us when dining out. The breakfast team was very responsive and always had an abundance of excellent options ready for breakfast. The staff was very eager to ensure we enjoyed our experience in Torino. We would recommend Torino and Hotel Giulio Cesare to anyone interested in an Italian vacation.

The hotel is comfortable and provides a breakfast. The tram line to the city center passes by. Some parking lots are available in the court of the building, ask in advance for the availability, strongly recommended for those travelling with a car.

The Turin's quarter is not so pleasant to walk around, I have preferred to take the tram from the square in front of the hotel and go straight to the city center.

Clean and comfy, easy to get the tram to the city center. We left the car in their private parking. Lovely people at the reception! We chatted so much, I learned so much about the city, things to do, restaurants, history, as much as I wanted! The excellent people put a smile on your face and make all the difference :)

The "friendly" drug dealers across the street. They were peaceful though.

I liked the room (clean, large beds, AC, even a fridge), the host was very helpful and friendly, and the fact that it offers private parking (paid).

Breakfast is only cold food and taken mainly to an underground floor. The location is in a busy area and is (was) full of immigrants. I did not feel comfortable about this, however they seem to mind their own business.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, the best service I've got at any hotel. My flight was delayed and I arrived in the middle of the night, but I couldn't have felt more warmly welcomed. The staff spoke fluent English so communicaton was easy. The hotel was very comfortable and clean. There's a buffet breakfast that contains more sweet than savoury products, but they make toast to order, which was really nice. Although I have to say that e.g. the chocolate croissants were absolutely delicious! Thank you for everything 😊

The hotel was spotless, with clean and cozy rooms and a fantastic breakfast. The staff were exceptionally welcoming, helpful, and courteous. Located within easy walking distance to tourist attractions and excellent restaurants, the area was both convenient and pleasant. Additionally, the hotel is bicycle-friendly, which was a great bonus.

Hosts were amazingly helpful and friendly , nice and warm people , who always assisted in any possible way , very nice breakfast and amazing quiteness of the area with great location close to center

Not connected to the hotel but the neigborhood nearby can be not very welcoming (immigrants selling drugs not far from the hotel does not add any attractiveness to the location )
